Have no idea. How would the Fan know? This is like the numbnut three weeks ago that said he was having concussion problems again and that was quickly dispelled - the idiot from Philadelphia. Fact is, only the people in Pittsburgh know. No one in NY, Philly or the Maldive Islands know anything about his condition.

They are saying that the jaw is not healing like it should be, to me that's sounds pretty bad.

Read about this Black Keys band and apparently they have two very good songs: "Tighten Up" and "Lonely Boy". A garage band formed in 2001.

Yanni and his flute? Not even worth looking for any more info

The Black Keys are actually one of my favorite bands. If you listen to the X, then you have heard them...they get played quite frequently. They have a lot of good songs, if you aren't familiar with their music you should def check them out

I tried to tell yinz that a broken jaw is no joke...especially for a hockey player and especially one that required major oral surgery. But people kept insisting that Sid would be back before the end of the season. i think we are lucky to see him in the first round (hopefully we won't need to)

Madden said that the "plan" was to have him ready before game 1.

Ron Cooke said people he has talked to with the team say the jaw is not completely healed and they don't want to take any chances.

He did not say the "jaw is not healing like it should". Those are two different things.

This was the only reference to Sid's jaw that I heard on the "The Fan".

Fact is the Pens never gave a timeline for his return. All I ever heard was COMPLETE speculation from fans and writers about when they thought he would return.

Yeah...and my "plan" is to win the poker tournament at Rivers Casino this Sunday but I guess we'll see what happens lol

Your first mistake was listening to Madden (I thought you said you stopped listening to him)???

Syke, I'm just kidding. Madden is usually on point with his hockey. However, he is wrong about a lot of stuff too (ex: Bennett not being ready to play at the NHL level)

Hopefully we are good enough to win without Sid in the first round. I wouldn't be surprised if we don't see him for 2-3 more weeks.

What I meant by saying "not healing like it should" was that they thought it would be healed by now. Not like its infected or anything like that. Just that its not healing up in the time they expected. Both Rossi and Madden anticipated him to return before the end of the year.

Just watched both videos (Lonely boy, Tighten up). Peculiar sound, different. Not bad.
