like i mentioned in another post.. not in a few years.. hit the driving range last year and i wouldnt offend the sport of golf by calling what i was doing golfing

Golf is a great excuse to drink. Pre-drinking is much cheaper ... too bad anything over about 3 beers and there is a noticeable drop in my game.

Went to a 9 didnt do so well with it, played a 9.5 didnt care for it...have had more sucess with 10-10.5

Not sure why tbh. Im playing a Callaway Diablo 10degree right now...but have a new driver my dad sent down which is a 10.5 Im going to take out as the Diablo hasnt been workin for me. (Yes its the driver, not the golfer)

Another nephew was jealous of my new Taylor Made driver. The thing is, he has hit a few buckets with it and some actual golf shots and I swear he hits it exactly the same length as he hits his own driver.

I think as long as your clubs are decent, reasonably modern, it makes zero difference unless you are a pro.

It's a confidence issue I think...I've seen some players who are good enough they could play with a broom handle. For many, though, the clubs have to instill confidence and keep your mind off your mechanics as much as possible while your swinging.

I'm using a 9.5 Ping G20...i went with the 9.5 because the G20 is a notoriously high launching driver head, and I was balooning the 10.5 when I was being fitted...

so i'm getting interviewed by the LF press today which is kind of cool...

this ones going over me head....

I used to be in the 280-320 range but have started to slice the ball as I try to gain more power over my last two years....been bringing the ball closer to the center of my stance and going for accuracy over distance....250-280 is what I shootin' for, but on the F'n fairway this year!!

I got a new driver 2 years ago and started hitting 300 yd drives for the first time in my life but I struggled with accuracy. The driver had a 2 inch extension in the shaft and I took the extension out last year which helped me with the accuracy and I still hit my share of 300 yd drives.I'm really looking forward to this golf season but we still have a fair amount of snow here on the prairies.
