THAT is not journalism. Is the Ottawa Sun a real newspaper? I've read high school newspapers that take themselves more seriously than that. Wow.

Yeah, the column is bad enough, but what is even worse, is that a "newspaper" editor actually ran the story, and Brennen is getting paid for it.

That column is as embarrassing as Christy Neil's yellow performance last night. The sad fact is two people thought that trash deserved to be published....Brennan and the editor. If management at that "newspaper" have any sort of integrity, both would be looking for a new career this morning.

There are some in print media that will embrace the blogosphere and use it as a motivating factor to keep producing quality work, and others like this Brennen guy.

No longer can anybody in print media say print is automatically > blogs.

Good writers and bad writers, doesn't really matter the platform.

Sens are the red headed step child of the 7 Canadian franchises.

They are sandwiched between two enormous fanbases in Toronto and Montreal which makes for an interesting dynamic.

For sure. 100% agree. I've seen some terrible stuff in the past. I don't think anyone needs a degree or position to say they can formulate a great story. Some people do see it that way. It's unfortunate. If you can write, then you can write.

Did anyone see Don Brennan's column from Ottawa? Wow. Just trash. If you want a laugh and haven't seen it I suggest you check it out. The conversation got slightly...private

I just saw the transcript. For the rivalry, it's pretty funny. She took it in stride like a pro. He does look like a jerk though.
