Great play by that fringe NHL'er. Cooookie.

Super cool that these milestones were won by disciplined role players really stepping up to the plate. A win tonight happens largely because of quality coaching AND elite goalkeeping. Great work, dudes!

I laugh that Iginla and Morrow are considered role players on this team

Nice one, Horatio Cain! Needs a long pause and some sunglasses though.

I want Shero to investigate into how getting crosschecked in the face equals 2 minutes each.

Another great team win. Here's hoping that one or some of the walking wounded return.

Morrow now has 11 points in 12 games with the Penguins. He had 11 points in 29 games with the Stars this season. You thinks he likes being here???

According to Sens fans, Neil isn't dirty because he's never been suspended.

He's going to be an absolute menace in the playoffs, the best is yet to come for Morrow.

Both of Morrow's assists were great, but that Dominic Moore pass to Iginla was something else. He was at the far edge of the trapazoid when he made that shortside pass.

I hate Chris Neil, for someone who is legitimately tough, he's a wussy. Only going after guys he can clearly beat, and backing down from bigger guys, but then talking crap when the linesemen get in there or when skating back to the bench. That being said, I'd like him if he was on my team.

What an effort by this team...

And those bottom playoff spots/SE division is a mess right now. Winnipeg vs Caps tomorrow is HUGE.

I hate Chris Neil, he's a Pus*y (with a capital P). Fixed that for ya!

I wouldn't want somebody as yellow as Neil on my team. Give me a legitimate tough guy like Asham. He doesn't just settle for fighting guys he knows he can beat.

By the way, that hit looked like a targeted head shot. What's the difference between an elbow or a forearm to the head. I didn't see it as clean at all.

Did anyone see Don Brennan's column from Ottawa? Wow. Just trash. If you want a laugh and haven't seen it I suggest you check it out. The conversation got slightly...private

Doc Emrick always wants to know if Lemieux and Burkle will make a play for them. That'd be awesome. It'd be cool if they teamed up with the Rooneys to buy them. It'd probably never happen, but I can dream.

I read that and see people are outraged. I know it's highly inappropriate and unprofessional but I thought it was funny. I'm sure I've chirped someone and said something similar before. However I wasn't writing a column. Hope we play them 1st round

Yeah, it's hilarious. It just happens to be a professional joke because he gets paid to write about hockey and all he could do was throw up a tabloid story. I expected more out of deadspin when they made fun of it. I stayed up an extra hour or so just laughing at the twitter response. You can imagine the jokes.

As far as the playoffs...it could happen. I'm rooting a bit for the Jets. Doesn't matter to me though. Just happy to see the team doing so well. Don't care who they play.

THAT is not journalism. Is the Ottawa Sun a real newspaper? I've read high school newspapers that take themselves more seriously than that. Wow.

Yeah, to be fair, Ottawa fans were criticizing it yesterday. They don't like it for the most part. Polished turd doesn't even fit the bill.

Oh, you mean kind of like how the Senators last night were paid to play hockey and all they could do was throw up a tabloid of a game? Zing!

I was saying the same thing. They didn't look interested in playing the game at times. Not until the last 10 minutes anyway.

I loved Murray and Neil in the corner and you could see them both having a laugh. No way Neil truly wanted to drop em with him or Engelland.

That column is as embarrassing as Christy Neil's yellow performance last night. The sad fact is two people thought that trash deserved to be published....Brennan and the editor. If management at that "newspaper" have any sort of integrity, both would be looking for a new career this morning.
