I don't recall; was Tinordi any good at hitting? Wonder if there's value in recalling him?

Not that good, no. But no worse than, say, Vébère, The General, Diaz...

The only way, is to NOT post for three years first, and then send in your application.

I detect a hint of facetiousness.

Those 2 should make an interesting pairing on the 2nd pp unit.

Absolutely. If Weber can manage to shoot the puck in any other place than an opponent's chin-pads.

Vast improvement over Bouillon-Gorges.

I find our first pp unit more dangerous when Markov and Subban switch up sides and are both ready to load up a shot. Not a fan of the opposite as it leads to Subban alone up top with Markov wandering around the zone trying to attract coverage.

I will do just that of what you asked...

...but I need you to tell me how to become a ref first.

Thanks buddy.

You seem like the kind of guy that loves to touch yourself... so one could only hope that by becoming ref... you would ban yourself

Yeah, that's how they've been most effective IMO. Markov's not regained his ability to sneak up on the back door like he used to do.

I'm not a fan of Pacioretty on the right-hand board. I'd prefer DD (yikes) or Eller/Galchenyuk (wishfull thinking) in that spot and Pacioretty int the high slot. However, I'm far from being a hockey mind, so my opinion is super-moot.

Was at a family dinner on Saturday, and my brother-in-law (a Leaf fan) was saying that he was looking forward to playing Montreal in the first round, and was convinced that Toronto is a lock for the 2nd round if they play the Habs because they'll sweep the series.

My dad wasn't so sure, but was openly unsure about Montreal's ability to compete in the playoffs.

For the sake of busting his rocks, I told my brother-in-law that I was equally as sure that should that matchup take place, and that Toronto is golfing after 5 games, citing that there's virtually no chance that in the playoffs Montreal forgets to show up and/or can't get a save for 4 straight games. Anyone (including by brother-in-law) who thinks that Toronto can get 4 goals on 5 shots in the playoffs is living in Wonderland.

Likely, this all means a 7-game series where half the games go to OT.

I like Toronto going into the playoffs. If Reimer keeps it together, they can do damage against almost any team. Hate to say it but I would put money on them versus the Canadiens, maybe even against the B's. They are the dark horse.

It is Washington that I am not entirely sold on just yet.

Galchenyuk's line struggles to set posession on the pp but once they're there the kid looks more dangerous on the half boards than anyone on the team. Plekanec needs to step up his game on the pp at least..

That's the thing with PPs though, this is when you can "dismantle" your normal lines and give a shot at a player who is best suited for a certain role.

Moooooot.
