I have a reno-depot big box and a canadian tire at walking distance.

go to the former for tools. Canadian Tire pretty much exclusively for tire swap, oil change, hockey tape.

to be honest my equipment is about 15 years old and no amount of killer equipment is gonna make me play any better

There are a few hockey shops. Hockey Expert (affiliated with Sports Expert), Sports Gilbert-Rousseau, Sources du sport that has its anglo pendant.

There's one shop in Québec, can't remember the name, but it was (frank)ing huge and hockey only. Was a lot of fun to go there when on tournament in that region.

I know the area it's probably the centre at the corner of the 40 and sources.

I think you're talking about Frappeurs right? didn't know that place still existed. the indoor golf joint in kirkland has batting cages now apparently.

the rousseau in laval is nice and I've never been but I hear the one in boisbriand is basically a city.
