I'm sure when you said he's a beast you meant a waste of space, time, and
money. . Couldn't stand the guy's play, or work ethic. Was about the farthest thing from a leader that can motivate his team. The only reason I can think of that you could think this is because after the "Two" left that was the "best" of whats left. I use best loosely. I would also like to clairify that i want Regier gone also, just want Ron out the door first.

Pominville has been on of Minnys best players

Maybe there is so much Pomminville hate because he has been and always will be a second or third line player. Not the leader or "captian" of a team in any league. He was presented to us by management as the guy who would end up replacing Breier. That guy couldn't come close to doing. I had waited for years for them to get rid of him and Roy. Now that they did it they can move to get better. Keep cutting this team down till we have players who actually want to play 60 min games( Ott Kaleta and Gerbe) and then those who play when they want (Stafford, Ennis, Myers)

IMO most of the hate is because he was the captain of 2 major underachieving teams. he became the face of failure in this city.

had he not been named capt i think he would still be here, eventually sign a new deal at a discount, and retire a sabre.

The Sabres don't need this game, which means they will win it.

Players like Miller and Pominville are very good, but they were asked to do too much because of shoddy roster building.

Shoddy roster building. Well said. I think this translates right down the roster. Its not that these guys suck or cant play in the NHL, but we had a horrible comination of players put in the the wrong postition to suceed.

Maybe Freakorenjo just isn't that good in the ol' NHL. Thats the problem with young players, they maybe awesome in teh AHL or juniors but they might just suck in the NHL.

Two coaches aren't playing the guy the right way? Maybe its the overhyped player.

Grigorenko is done as a player in Buffalo. Sabres brass has already screwed this kid up to the point he will never play well here............ That is how the Sabres do things....

It certainly gives incentive to entertain the thought of staying. The Peca thing was so mishandled that it sends a toxic message throughout the organization. We arent serious, we dont take care of our own.
