I don't know this to be true, but I've heard some rumblings that he is a bad lockerroom guy, which may affect Buffalo's decision on him. If they can get a lot for him, you never know.

He has been known to be pretty outspoken, I've also read that he isn't exactly Mr. Happy teammate either. I think a lot of it is frustration, the Sabres were one of the best teams in the lague not too long ago and they continue to trade away pieces of what was left of those teams and really haven't beared much fruit from those transactions. Sounds like a hall of famer who wants to win and feels his organization isn't doing everything it can to build a winner...

That deal would make a lot of sense for Edmonton if they asked for permission to speak with him, and negotiate a long-term deal prior to the trade. The Oilers need to start adding some veterans to that team, as they already have all the top-end young talent they need.
