What about the StL game. The difference was we connected on passes early, so they couldn't keep running around like chickens with no heads. Sure they need to answer the bell physically a little better, but you get that first goal and the whole complexion changes

True. But the Canucks are a much more talented team than the Blues and they dictated the game because they are capable of it. The Blues tried to dictate the game and couldn't sustain it.

Canucks when healthy are a strong team and they match up well aginst the Hawks.

Edmonton is so terrible right now, I still think the Ducks are in trouble

People..stop comparing the Blues to the Ducks, Kings, or Nucks. Yes they are a physical team but lack the offense of the other three.....the best thing the Blues can do for us is rough up any potential opponents.

You're underrating the Blues. They have scored basically the same amount of goals as Van and would beat ANA in a series. Anyway I was using the game the Hawks played as an example. Short, quick, tape to tape passes out of the zone. We gave away too many pucks early, which let Van build off the crowd and play with even more energy

Anytime the Hawks play a physical team they have to score first to dictate the pace and play of the game......with a 1-0 lead, even though the hawks pp is terrible teams will still respect their fire power and not want to be down a man......

Go deeper into those stats.....5 on 5 hockey the Blues are in the bottom half of the league...Nucks, Hawks, Ducks, and Kings are all in the top ten.

To be fair the seats were pretty empty today its a monday all the rich folks decided not to go I guess.
