It is what it is. I would have liked to see the Hogs back in the playoffs. At least the Hogs when down to their last day fighting to get in, and not sh1tting the bed to fall out of the playoffs. I guess that's the positive I take away from it.

The run the Icehogs went on was a good character builder for this young team. Would have been better to make the playoffs but I will take this in place of giving up when the playoffs did not seem possible a couple months ago. Too bad because the way they were rolling I think they would have gone a long way.
With their depth and experience the future bodes well for the Hogs.

We'll see who stays and who goes over the summer. It's an affiliate team. Things change from season to season.

Sure. But I don't remember seeing Soupy in bunches of commercials promoting everything from BMO Harris Bank to the Illinois Lottery. Sharp was even larger than life on a billboard this year, though I can't remember where I saw it--one of the tollways, I'm sure. Been on the cover of bunches of Chi town publications.

If it makes the team better, I'll take it, not sure those two guys will replace everything Sharp and Bolland bring, but it would sure be interesting to see. See, that's called compromise.

Guess we'll see what happens over the summer. Though with JJ saying Sharp is going to need surgery over the summer, I can't see many teams taking his injury and his contract on.

So I'll say Sharp wears the indianhead next September. Book it.
