Hopefully not. Don't want to see him until the playoffs.

Pirri isn't near good enough to be playing in these playoffs, so if he's our second line center I really don't think things are going to end well - rollpards19
The point is I said they are going to have to better at playoff scoring than they were since they lost the depth since their goalies are undoubtedly in the lower tier of playoff goalies. And I don't believe you're only as strong as your weakest link, it just means your strongest links have to be that much better.
The bolded is true, but the thing is Boston and LA and Van are really good teams, with really good goalies. And you must not have seen Niemi at all this year, because he has been spectacular and the Sharks can't score at all. - rollpards19
I watch alot of the Sharks games and Niemi is probably been their MVP this season. My comment was is relation to what has he won since leaving the Blackhawks. Answer is nothing and I will be surprised if that changes because I don't think the Sharks can beat LA, Anaheim, Vancouver or St.Louis in a playoff series.
And your point about scoring goals in the playoffs applies to every team. And that's where St.Louis will also have difficulty - can't expect a goaltender to win every game 1-0 or 2-1.
I would have preferred to see Rockford make playoffs, it would have been good for the young guys. - DarthKane
Rob Flick's on a first place team and Sauve's on the Titanic...

Again, I don't understand the comparison of Crawford to other goalies. You said that Anderson is arguably the best goalie in the league this season, but had an off night last night. I'm assuming your opinion on him being one of the best in the league this year is because he has been consistently good all year, or great, as you said, with the exception of the occasional off night, right. Well using that logic, some people are leery of Crawford because he has consistently shown the penchant to give up a soft goal that hurts the team. It's not about the occassional off night or the rare bad goal. It's the soft goals that he has been prone to for two seasons now. Are you saying those two goals he gave up against Phoenix didn't effect that series? Granted the Hawks PP was anemic, they were without Hossa and others didn't play their best, but the Hawks were in those games with a chance to win them in overtime and those two goals were killers. Once is bad enough, but twice in back to back games? Inexcuseable. - RetiredGoalie
I wasn't making a direct comparison with Anderson, nor was I making excuses for Crawford. Just pointing out that goalies, even those having excellent campaigns, can look average on occasion. And why are you reaching back to last years playoffs and linking my comments to them. Crawford was awful in last years PO's when he needed to be solid, and the Hawks offense couldn't produce despite outshooting and outchancing the Coyotes by a wide margin.
Like I said...I am simply a fan who hopes Q and Co. make the right call, and whoever is between the pipes gets the job done. The options are Crawford and Emery going into the playoffs and we will soon find out if it's enough.
I'll save my complaints, or compliments, for when the post season is complete.

Peoria down 3-0 to Milwaukee after 40....Milwaukee win eliminates Rockford which means...REINFORCEMENTS are on the way
- philco28
Looks like that bad Rockford lose to Peoria (4-0) a week or so ago is gonna be the difference. Too bad for the Hogs, they were a strong AHL club for long stretches this year.
Leave it to the Blues farm team to spoil the Hogs post-season hopes - prd797
It is what it is. I would have liked to see the Hogs back in the playoffs. At least the Hogs when down to their last day fighting to get in, and not sh1tting the bed to fall out of the playoffs. I guess that's the positive I take away from it.
Sorry EK...i was rooting for them. Good year by a wins/losses total....should have got them in....hope some of those young'ns can help us IF called upon.
