Honestly, there was a time when the Sabres were constantly kicking the Leafs, arses, I used to think the Sabres were a model organization. They seemed to have it all. Great gm, great coach in Ruff, superior goalie, they played an awesome system under Ruff. All they needed was open up the wallets & add the missing pieces of the puzzle. How many times I had wished that Regier & Ruff were running the Leafs instead of Burke & Wilson.

problem was regier missed on many first rd picks up til the first lockout

By the way I was right about the Devils

My prediction for how the East will finish:

1st-Pittsburgh
2nd-Montreal
3rd- Washington
4th-Boston
5th- NYI
6th-Ottawa
7th-Toronto
8th-NYR

The Isles are blazing hot & don't have any tough games left, so I give them 5th. Ottawa is playing great but have tougher games left than the Isles, so that will put em at 6th. While the Rangers have an easier sched than the Leafs, Leafs are 3 points ahead & I can't see the Leafs getting zero points in the next 4 games. So that puts the Leafs at 7th & the Rangers wil be 8th.
