I think you took what I said out of context; I agree that he is the best thing that's happened to this town in years. My point was that he set the bar extremely high and now fans are pissed that the team isn't playing up to the expectations that he set.

I think the issue is that he made it seem like we'd be champs in 3 years and a result Darcy went a little overboard with his contract negotiations, and we're just left here wondering if Terry just wanted to sell it to the fans... well he did whether it was intentional or not.

Now it's gonna start to bite back unless further action is taken.

I was anxious to get Leo out of here (hear). I was very disappointed in Regher. I might be the only one on earth that has this opinion but Sekera can't get traded fast enough.

I would have played him over Leo but Darcy had to wait to get a trade for him. Worked out he got a good pick for him but he got raped in the return for Brennan.

You can't sweat one bad deal. In fact I won't even call it a bad deal. It was a move to make a move. They got something maybe that will be our next Kaleta or Foligno. Let's face it Paille and MacArthur both left in similar situations. They are both good buy are we a Paille or MacArthur away from a division championship or Stanley cup? No. No we dont lose sleep over it. We got killer returns for our other d men and the call ups were good. The future is bright.

I just got back from the Amerks game. Catenacci had the game winner and an assist.

This.

The only reason I'm willing to let some of this season slide is because of the circumstances. I know they could have gotten out of the hole but it's a shortened season... nothing we can do.

I expect a trade or two at least on Draft Day.

I'm gonna go to a playoff game or two, been wanting to see these guys play for a while but I never have the time.

Not that anything is guaranteed to change, but if they're going to have a crap the bed type of season, I'd rather it be a shortened one.

It was a good game. I didn't expect anything other than a win though since they were playing Hamilton.

Dude c'mon. We made moves. Everyone is bummed because we got smoked in embarrassing fashion last night. That team is a post sell at the dealing team counting Myers and Leino (albeit bad deals) were missing 22 million in payroll from the original season plan from its gamed at roster. They were supposed to lose. It's a miracle they came that close. We got prospects, draft picks and cap room galore. It wont be overnight, but im calling it now, in 3 years were are a serious contender and were all on here apologizing for poop we said in the past.

And that they did, I'm only 20 so I can't say I've been around for TOO many seasons but I can definitely say this has been the worst I have ever watched.

No. That store is way too tiny to even try to take advantage of it. There was a line just to get in. I want an Amerks sweatshirt, but not that badly.

And not one of these guys, with the exception of Myers if he suddenly has an epiphany, and that's still a huge maybe, has the potential to be a real game changer. Many of these guys will most likely turn out to be solid players, but nobody strikes me as anyone that is going to be guys that teams gameplan against because they can dominate games.

Just read about the whole Jack Edwards fiasco, I swear that guy is the joke of NHL play-by-play announcers. I'm amazed after everything he's done he still maintains his job.

Philly and New Jersey won today so we're moving up slowly in the draft order (edmonton also has a game or two in hand). Future looks more bright than it has before because this may be the first time in a while (or at least in my short lifetime) that this franchise has actually accepted/is going into a full rebuild. Trading one of Vanek/Miller or both could net you a huge return and it would probably have us poised for a top 5 pick next year and the year after.

But like I said, boatloads of picks, prospects and cap room. It's not hopeless. Now let's enjoy hopefully watching Rochester have some playoff success.

I just hope Rochester doesn't have to play Toronto. The Marlies own them.

It would be in their best interests to win tomorrow night to try and get back into 6th.

They would also need Oklahoma to lose their last game.

Doesn't matter. They've still had a hard time with Toronto all season. Even after Kadri went to the NHL.

If the Amerks win and OKC loses in OT then they're tied. What's the first tiebreaker in the AHL, cause if it's ROW then they need OKC to lose in regulation.

My guess would be it's the same as the NHL but I'm not really sure.

I want to make some sort of joke about Tim Connolly being a dominating factor but I just can't bring myself to do it.
