Forgive me for being rude but, I wasn't. - buffalofan19
Understood haha. It was the first Saturday night home game for the Penguins. It would have also been the first Friday/Saturday night combo for the Penguins all year. One afternoon game after another this year.
Once again, I understand why, not taking issue with why, but just one of those small things I was looking forward to. |

And Larson. I'll probably stream the game online. Might even pay for it if I have to. Wife's going to the Casino, in stuck here with baby. Gotta have something to do. |

Larsson seems to be pretty good. He has 1 goal and 3 assists in 7 games. I know he had a shootout goal as well. |

God I hope the late failure of a resurgence didn't jeopardize this team's potential for next year. |

They got bumped down to 7th with that loss last night. Still, all they need to do is get 2 points in these next two games and they clinch. |

look at the people NY has to sign in comparison to the Sabres though. That makes a big difference when you're comparing things. |

I would hope they can manage that. They are playing one of the worst teams in the league today and tomorrow. It shouldn't be all that difficult. That being said, you never know. |

The Amerks have been moody all year long.... probably because of how often we've been moving players around. I wonder who the Sabres send down now that they're out of it. |

I would get Foligno and Hodgson down there ASAP. I want them to experience a playoff run and not be influenced by the mess that is the Sabres currently.

Well, Porter and Pardy would need to clear waivers, so they're not going back. They already said Foligno and Hodgson aren't going. So that pretty much leaves Flynn, Pysyk and the new guy Ruhwedel as possiblities I guess. |

Miller is the scapegoat on the team because he's the most "visible." I don't think it's fair, but for more "casual" hockey fans, he's the one that's going to get the most heavily criticized. I've tried defending him for years now. It's been even more difficult this year. For some reason, most people can't see that the team in front of the goalie is even more of a problem. - HonkFortheGoose
He did put the sabres in a position where it was next to impossible to win the game last night
Two way street
Very frustrating with him as a goalie

Foligno was with them last year for the 1st round sweep by the Marlies. |

very good post on Buffalo News:
We chased Barasso out of town......two Stanley Cups. We chased Hasek out of town.....two Stanley Cups. Are we going to chase Miller out of town as well? He's the least of our problems; instead he deserves our support. Save your booing for Regier...... - jimbro83
Unfortunately, that's not true. Hasek threatened to retire if he wasn't traded. Not just to a team that the Sabres would be able to max his value, but to a Stanley Cup contender. The fans would have wanted him to stay. |

Enroth wasn't really any better. Both of them had a bad night. It was reminiscent of the Pittsburgh game before Christmas last year. |

Ruhwedel can't go back down because of dumb contract rules and I agree that Foligno and Hodgeson going down doesn't make much sense. We've already got them used to playing on the NHL level, there isn't any point of getting them used to something totally different. |

The only person who stood out to me at rookie camp was Pysyk. His skating is a thing of beauty. Very smooth, effortless skater.
Catenacci is a guy that we could use though. Our team speed is pretty awful these days. |

Ruhwedel is on an ELC. Those are two way contracts. Why can't he go down? |
