The Sabres haven't had a true #1 center since Pat LaFontaine, before that Pierre Turgeon and before that Gil Perreault. This team needs a legit top line forward, preferably a center. Mackinnon if he's legit, if not Drouin. Of course, that's if they get some overwhelming luck and move up to the top 2-3 in the draft.

Not outside of the top 12 or so. It's heavily weighted in the top 10. Most of these guys in the top 10 would go top 5 in another draft, but the late 1st round guys are really nothing special, and would probably go mid 2nd in another draft.

Neither Hodgson or Ennis is a #1 center, heck Ennis isn't even playing center now. Grigorenko? Not even close to a #1 center..yet. Give me one franchise center. This team has been around for 43 years and has 2 maybe three franchise centers and one was traded for another.
