The fact is that the Leafs tough guys won't be able to contribute in the playoffs... the lines should be run are these:

JVR - Bozak - Kessel
Lupul - Kadri - MacArthur
Komorov- Grabovski - Kulemin
Frattin - McClement - Orr

Phaneuf - Gunnarsson
Fraser - Franson
Liles - O'Byrne

Between Orr,Fraser and O'Byrne we can handle the actual fighting, most playoff games just involve scrumming - which anyone can handle.

Playoffs is about speed, skill, stamina. We need grinding, cycling of the puck. Alot of the goals the Leafs have scored this season are from sustained offensive zone pressure from cycling. I just hope Carlyle sees it this way; teams are not going to be willing to drop the gloves in the playoffs because they'll want to be running four lines.

Based on the remaining games we are playing PLUS the fact that other teams chasing us are playing each other, the Leafs have a 99.6 % chance of making the post-season. I'm okay with those odds

It is pretty easy to imagine the Leafs losing the string. All it would take is them to play the way they have the last 3 games.

Then you have to imagine Winnipeg winning out... look at their schedule.
