Absolutely agree.
That and the fact that presumption of innocence has gone out the window if he is indeed unarmed.

- Whiskey-Tango

If he was unarmed, he would have surrendered by now.

I won't second guess the cops here. They know what they are doing.

A trial woulda been nice...

As I said, I'm not saying it's wrong.

And I'm not second-guessing the actions of the police.

It just strikes me as weird that a public execution is entertainment.

Do we really need to see it?

- Atomic Wedgie

I agree with you.

In fact I am watching none of this but rather playing with Star Wars dolls in the Engels thread.

You still gonna judge me bro?

Those people?
I dont believe this has anything to do with 911.

- Fakepartofme

You're taking my words out of context, those people as in 'all the people' that the US has pissed off, just as general as a previous posters words

He didn't say that. He's responding to the post saying that america has pissed off everyone and they should expect more of this.

He's saying america's been pissing people off for 12 years, and nothing else has really happened(though there have been attempts)... so why would we assume that there'll be a ramp up now?

What would you call it if he's gunned down now?
- Feeling Glucky?

I'd call that a public execution. I'm seeing a lot of cops waiting after shots have been fired. Nobody knows if he's got bombs.

Guy could have a bomb, could have guns... put an animal in a corner, and it's most dangerous... if he's opperating under the belief that he's going to die, or with the willingness to die... sending in police serves only to put more people at risk.

Dude, They got a Copter overhead, floodlights, snipers and hundreds of various government law enforcement agencies operating all within a ten to twenty meters.

How could they not see if he's armed.

AGREED. Let's get this guy alive. We've seen toooo much carnage from Boston on the last week to last us a lifetime. I'd really like a peaceful ending.

Ah ok...sorry the comment seem to correlate the two incidents.

I said my point - I can see it happening more often as USA has pissed off many but more importantly they killed BIN LADEN
- Garnie

I know, that's what I thought you said. All I was saying was that people have wanted to attack as since 9/11 for pissing 'PEOPLE IN GENERAL' off, but we've done a pretty good job keeping our cities safe, obviously besides this

All I'm saying is much hasn't changed since we started getting attacked in the first WTC bombing

hey Gluckster, you make good points but it's one guy, probably wounded. Police have superior technology. I agree it must be done safely, but police have the stuff do get this done safely.
- GCHonda

No tech right now will stop a bullet to the head. And if he's got a bomb there, and a tank full of gas...

Infra-red is used to pick up body heat. Bombs/guns don't have body heat... can't be certain of what he's got.

Not saying they haven't done a good job I am just off the cuff thinking there are so many in the country it's hard to keep track and now with Bin Laden you would assume they will be looking for payback. Hopefully not!!!

I really just want to know what franked up thinking lead a 25 year old and his 19 year old brother to think that exploding bombs in a crowd would solve something.

Who says having a weapons automatically justifies a execution?
So he willingly decides to drop his weapon they should still "light him up"?
The reason he probably has not surrendered yet is because he's scared for his life.

Speaking of which their about to terminate the link, why would they need to do that?
