I thought he would get shot or would kill himself. Perhaps he run out of bullets or wasn't coward enough to kill himself.
- Orpik44

I wonder if he thought he could escape it. I mean he escaped the shootout last night, from the sounds of he slipped a dragnet that had him cornered to a few small block and remained loose for almost 24hrs. I would be feeling pretty confident/lucky at that point too.

No doubt he is a coward. A coward that kills innocent people and doesn't have the stones to save a bullet for himself. Apparently he's not exactly sure about the whole 72 virgins thing...

nah I think we see the islanders. I expect the islanders to lose one or two and the rangers to win out.

Good point, I didn't even realize this but with a solid finish the Rags could grab the 5th spot.

Philly officially eliminated.

Morons Bronx cheer Miller like he's some kind of scrub. I'm beyond happy that no matter what, Pittsburgh fans always have Fleury's back at the arena.

If he struggles the fans cheer harder for him, I like that.

Miller was absolutely awful tonight. The third goal he gave up was embarrassing and on the fourth it looked like he could care less. I would be ticked off to if I was a Sabre fan and watched his terrible performance. Hard to cheer for a guy that gives a performance like that.

Funny you didn't mention the first two.

At that point though it looked like the team wasn't helping him much. They were being out shot like 12-3 and looked flat.

They Sabres will be a much worse team when Ryan Miller demands a trade out of there.

for those that don't want to play the Rangers in Round 1, this Islanders-Jets game will be huge. Really need a Jets win. That would tie them in points again (NY would have a game in hand) and it would keep the deficit between the islanders/rangers at 1.

We can handle anyone with a full line up. Actually we have been handling anyone without a full lineup. Relax, whomever we get we will be fine. This is NOT last year's team. With Morrow and Murray we are tougher. Not to mention everyone playing better defense.

And even though Iginla hasn't been the most physical guy out there, he imposes respect. If left alone, bingo!

I can't say enough about the kind of game this team has been playing all around. A lot of help from the forwards on the defensive side and d-men joining the rush.

I for one wouldn't want the Rangers on the 1st round. Not afraid of them either but they'll put up a bloody fight in the first round. Islanders or Buffalo (if they make it) are my choices. Jets before the Rangers for sure.

Party in the East side! Now let's hope they don't pick on the Top 5.

Thought that was interesting.

I take this to mean none of the 3 will be back until playoffs.

Yes it could mean that too.

Ideally, those guys would get a couple of tuneup games. Get the lines set. Get back into game shape.

I think we all expected Martin to be the last guy to return.
