Got good looks at some Rochester players and it appears we have some keepers. Got a good look at Rolston. Finally saw our backup goaltender play other than when Miller is hurt. Stacked our draft.

It was a "discovery" year. They discovered a lot about the make up of the team and discovered a lot about what they have available to them already. They also discovered that the current path was not working and decided to start going in a different direction.

All I've wanted from this team the last few years was just to show me the wheels are turning. That there is some thought process going on. Not every choice they make from here on out is always going to be right, but at least they are trying stuff.

Just think the Hockey Hot beads of Florida, Tampa, Colorado and Carolina are going to get superstar caliber players in this draft.

Every year is overstated, but we did lose $10.4 million last season, $5.6 million the year before that, and $7.9 million in Golisano's last full year as owner.

EDIT: Actually every year isn't overstated. I've yet to find a season where the Sabres had a positive dollar operating income.

Any canadian would know that Tampa's stanley cup doesn't count...seriously that was all bettman and I won't be convinced otherwise. And I must have missed that time where Florida won the stanley cup.

If you read that statement out loud you too will realize how ridiculous it sounds. Last year they missed the playoffs and payed Ehrhoff and Leino close to 20M in signing bonuses and had a net loss of around 2.5-3 million. (and this was with the league's highest payroll)

I'm not linking reports for the last 10 years. Go to Google and search 'NHL Valuations'. If you want to do it by year add the year. Even in the year the Sabres went to the ECF against Ottawa they had an operating income of $-4.9 million. The year before when we went to Game 7 against Carolina was the last positive year at $4.6 million.

Half your team is dead weight bro. Komisarek, Grabovski, Macarthur, Kulemin to name a few. We would find a deal for myers before you could find a half decent deal for any of those players
