you are making zero sense

you are saying that this woman should be investigated even though she didnt do anything wrong

you are trying to make the argument that because she spoke in defense of her family that makes her suspect.

here is a bit of fact for you: there is nothing illegal about doing that

she is a woman, who is blocking out the obvious evidence of her family members guilt because she is not prepared or mentally capable atm to deal with it.

you are verging on facist behaviour here... our culture was built in the opposite direction than your opinion.

at what point do we refuse to speak our minds for fear of government reprucussion?

we are allowed to misjudge and be misguided you know

All I said is that the security services of this world will take a close look at anyone around them.. and unlike their aunt.. everyone can see the are guilty.

That is the systemic procedure for officials after a terror attack.. all of it is legal.. no one will be arrested.. unless found guilty of committing a crime.

Nothing fascist about it.. people are investigated all the time legally.. and are afforded many protections. I have been investigated a couple of times and never committed a crime.. I never had an issue.

I didn't appreciate her comments.. and actions.. I think it looks bad on her.

That is all I have said..

watching coverage on CBC /CTV gives us a better understanding of the situation than those living in Boston... apparently.

HE LIVES IN BOSTON!!!. Has nothing to do with News coverage. He's part of the (frank)ing community. He sees it as an attack on HIS community as much as everyone else does. That's why he's the only family member not sticking by them.

Clearly you are mistaken.. the uncle that approached the media lives in Maryland..

You might have glossed over some of the facts..

at what point did i blame religion? my stance is quite the opposite.

what i meant by my post was that praying 5x a day was normal, i was not trying to say it justified murder.. not at all.

I just went back and re-read the entire convo (painfully). Sorry that I mis-read your point

Ya I think the issue was the way you said it made it sound like they should rip her life apart cause she's probably in on it, and the basis for that seemed to be you didn't like the read you got off of her in her comments to the press.

I know that isn't how you said it, but it's clearly how all of us read it. Kinda like how we're saying you are mis-reading the Aunt's comments and attitude.

From her perspective, it's her family that is under attack. Cut her some slack. That's all I'm saying.

Fine, that being said I think you should try and imagine - honestly - what you would have done in her shoes. Isn't at least possible that you would misspeak, that you wouldn't be able to believe that your loved ones were capable of committing such crimes?

I would have a hard time processing all that, and in front of a bunch of cameras too... It would be overwhelming.

Go read on some credible sites like the BBC, maybe CBC, why not even the Guardian in the UK..

Everything you said was wrong.

Better yet, imagine if your son is accused of rape. But you know your son and you are convinced he's innocent. They even have picture of him "in action".

That was not my issue with the interview.. I can understand the disbelief.. that was not at issue.

No remorse for the atrocity.. whether he nephews committed it or not.. she should have condemned the attack.. then talked about their innocence.. she was also smiling through most of the interview.

Even their father who suggests it was a frame job.. denounced the attack.. but that his sons were innocent.

Big L.. text is much more misconstrued than one to one verbal communication with the benefit of body language.. yet all of you who thought I was claiming her guilt by association, were demeaning my view because of your interpretation of my text.

I just said that she will suffer for that interview because of the way it was delivered.. that is fact.. I wasn't calling for it.. I was just stating the obvious. I also said she was a Btch about it.

I appreciate family.. I have a huge one.. and we are close.. if my cousins did the bombing.. I would distance myself from it.. and ask the public to be aware that the facts would come out.. and until they got their day in court.. they should be viewed as innocent.

Maybe existing mental instability paired with being ripped from their home by a bloody civil war and relocating at least twice at a young age could be a factor here.

a conflicting portrait emerged of two young men who, by most accounts, appeared to fit right into their American lives, but may have felt socially isolated in a culture they didn't understand.

The brothers and their extended family are ethnic Chechens. Chechnya has been plagued by an Islamic insurgency stemming from separatist wars.

Conflicting accounts trace their journey as refugees from conflict zones to America.

Records of their birthplaces have not been confirmed, but the BBC reports their father, Anzor Tsarnaev, says Tamerlan was born in Chechnya and Dzhokhar in Kyrgystan, after the family fled war-torn Chechnya in the early 1990s.

The parents and their youngest son moved to the U.S. in 2002, his sister Maret Tsarnaeva told CBC News

The difference is there was video & thousands of pictures.. that proved it was them.

Big backpack.. same bag your son carried dropped in the area that blew up, then picture of your son walking away without the bag.

If it was my son I would denounce the crime, say that I didn't think my son would be capable of it.. and call for the police to find evidence to prove his innocence.. and if he was guilty.. that I denounce the crime... and him.. but that he was still my son.
