Its annoying, but Isles just need to take care of their own business. Saturdays game is monstrous. No doubt in my mind we will win that game IF we continue playing like we have been.

With the Ranger win and them moving up two points on the jets you can count on them coming out pretty strong at home tomorrow. Going to be a huge game for both teams.

Hopefully, the Isles can return the favor for your team making Buffalo have no reason to do anything but empty their lockers for the rest of the season.

Wow, anyone that plays the best in the last 4 gets in. Jets, Rage Isles, Sens and Leafs are so close now. we lose and it gets crazier.....Hope they can keep it up as they have been playing must wins for weeks now. Just hope if they lose they are able to bounce back right away.....or even better all the teams we are up agaisnt jsut lose all their games.....yeah it will never be that easy Go Islanders!

I think it's more like whoever plays the worst doesn't make it.

From the Leafs to the Jets, 4 teams will make it, 1 won't. Islanders would have to do pretty terrible over the last 4 games to be that one team. And the Jets have to basically win out. I can't see them catching the caps even though they are only 2 points apart. The caps have been on fire and in my opinion they are a better team.

I said a win over the leafs was pretty much clinching a spot but we got no help at all in any other games since then. Now I'll say it again. A win today pretty much ends it.

Isles aren't losing. They have been stellar for a month(more?) and teams like toronto and winnipeg are pretty average.

Today they go 2-0 on the road trip.

Yeah they lost like 4 in a row in mid march and have been unstoppable pretty much ever since. In the last 13 games they've gotten at least a point in each besides one loss to Pitt.

I hope your right but I'm still being cautiously optimistic at this point. lol Its four games, still lots can happen.....yes we have been beasts but just like a losing streak, you got to win at some point, same for winning streaks, you will eventually lose a game and at this point the odds still are not that rock solid that anything can't still happen. In summary.....lets go boys...don't trip on the way to the finish line.

They trip they have no one to blame but themselves. They worked too hard to give it away now. They HAVE to come out strong and send a message immediately in that building today. One of the hardest buildings to play in. They win today the rest of the schedule is a cake walk and we will move further up. They lose then anything can happen. Every one of these games have been character builders and this team as far as I'm concerned has got it. No slow first few minutes equals win today. Keep the faith everyone, we are going to do this!

One word, boys:

Believe.

What we've witnessed this past month + hasn't been an illusion. It's the real deal. When you hear these guys in the post game interviews, they mention that they are holding each other accountable. When did we EVER hear that with the Isles? That MEANS something. You hear that from guys on winning teams. This is now a winning team. Make no mistake. I know we all have our "concerns" that they will fall back to the crap we've been watching for SOOOOOO many years.
Forget that. This is a new vibe. This team is for REAL.

of the three team (Jets,Rangers, Isles) We are the best and have been playing like a team. The only thing I see getting in our way is a couple of bad bounces or non calls. This team will be playing in May though, they want it too much.

Jets have a pretty tough schedule too. Isles, Caps, Habs. That Jets/Caps game could be pretty big.

Jesus, I saw the highlights on the Ranger goals this morning, were either Miller or Enroth even remotely interested in stopping the puck? One goal, Enroth snapped at a wrist shot with his "catching" mitt and completely whiffed on it. Probably one the most horrendous goals I've ever seen.

Martinek or Strait in for Carkner. Joensuu in for Boulton. Not gonna be able to see most of today's game due to the weird start time, but, let's get 2 tonight, boys.

Onwards and upwards.

Strait. The forgotten man. I wonder how he'll look on this D that has improved tremendously since he went down with the injury.
