I'll comment in tomorrow's Musings. Both deals make sense for both sides.

Rosehill will make an appropriate amount for a 12th/13th forward and if he ends up being waived and assigned to Phantoms at some point, the salary falls below the threshold where anything would count against the cap. Rinaldo got a nice little bump in salary (relative to being a role player just finishing in ELC); he earned it.

Yeah.. not a big fan of that one. I'm not in love with the greenery.

I didn't see dollar amounts but when I saw Rosehill for two years yesterday all I could think of was Jody Shelly. Why would they want him on a two year contract? I guess the number is so low it doesn't matter, it's just one of 50.

I think there is plenty of room between the moon and nothing. Braydon Schenn and a 2nd for example. The Coyotes are completely bereft of young offensive talent.

Absolutely agree. My Winter Classic Schenn jersey doesn't like that idea but that's definitely a more fair offer and far from "nothing in return" from a Coyotes perspective.
