it was only a no goal because HE got lucky
HE is at fault for leaving his net and mishandling the puck

Did he give up any goals? NO.

We get it you don't like him, time to let it go.

More entertaining reading imbecilic Flyers "fans" trashing him.

Thats truthfully your opinion. An entire summer of training could have Laurdisen or Manning on our blue-line quite easily. None of us know if they could be NHL dmen full time next year. What their proving right now is that they at least deserve a shot.

Meszaros isn't healthy, thats the point. He hasn't been healthy for two seasons now. Manning or Laurdisen may not be at Meszaro's level, but neither is Meszaros. He is certainly still an option because he's under contract.

Unless they can acquire a young, top 4 dman, I have no problem with them keeping all 3 on the roster, even if two of them start off as the 7th or 8th D (i don't know who would be/wouldn't be waiver exempt, I know Gus wouldn't be). Better than overpaying for a vet like Hainsey just because he's a vet.

I would like to point out that if Mezsaros is healthy to start the year, he is 100% on our blue-line. I would not at all be opposed to him being traded or bought out either.

Lauridsen and Manning aren't going to become full time NHL defenseman over a Summer of training. To think that a Summer of training has them on the FLyers blueline easily, doesn't make a lot of sense. It's not being in better shape that is going to make them full time NHL defenseman. Neither is ready for a full time role. Both are showing that they can be called up and hold their own. But if either one is in the top 6 next Season. Flyers are in trouble.

You're not going to keep a kid like either them on the roster as a 7th or 8th defenseman. They need to be playing on a regular basis to continue to develop.

It's not blind loyalty. I can and have criticized Bryzglaov in the past, and I'm sure I will in the future. Simply complaining all the time makes your posts tiresome.

so you think it's acceptable for a goalie to consistently make bonehead mistakes that cause our team to lose

I see. And you spend how much time stalking Bryz to measure how much time he thinks about the universe versus thinking about hockey to come to this rational conclusion? I'd like a breakdown of minutes used thinking of each topic, please. If you could lump in how many minutes he thinks of his dog as a hot blonde, too, that would be extra credit.

Need to have a shot on goal against to have the save percentage affected. And you're a statistics guy???

Not a decision a fan has to make. That will be Paul Holmgren's call for next year.

Any boneheaded mistakes, so far, haven't cost the team on the scoreboard tonight. When he makes a boneheaded mistake that costs the team a goal, I will complain.

In terms of blame for their current won-loss record, Bryzgalov is not at the top of the list. Using that rationale, Mason sucks because he allowed a bad goal when Buffalo won the 1-0 game.

I've said this before, Bryz is a good, solid NHL goalie. However his contract is that of a very good, consistent top flight goalie, and that he is not. I just don't believe he will ever be worth his contract.

Then I'll complain about it, much like I did about Leighton.

Right now, it's passing up glorious scoring chances that has the Flyers in trouble tonight, not Bryzgalov.
