So by that logic, Colorado should play Giguere the rest of the season because his stats are better than Varlamovs. Oh, and Bernier in LA over Quick.
Get a freaking clue. It's not as cut and dry as that and you know it. Bernier has been the much better goalie for LA all season, yet Quick still gets the majority of the starts. Explain that to me, oh wise one.
I don't really see that as being the direction we take going forward. That would mean that we traded Vanek and Miller and got nothing in return.
I think Ott wants to stay in Buffalo with Weber and will sign an extension. I also think the Sabres may resign Vanek and maybe Miller too. Miller could go in the offseason if we get a starter back, plenty of people will be interested in him.
Catennaci and our first rounder(s) this year will take 2 years before they are up here too. Armia might be ready for a first call up next year, he still has to adapt to the N.A. game, I think he will progress quickly though because he has been playing against good players in Europe. - rsj2588
