I think the only game left that really makes a difference is the game against the Jets, if they lose that it's instant DQ from the playoffs... even though pretty much any loss will seal the deal. Buffalo needs a lot of help. And I fully expect them to finish 9th.

I would think that losing to NYR would be bigger than WPG at this point... I bet we finish 9th or 10th... Then again.. we lose tonight and the wheels completely fall off and we finish like 2-3-1.

As long as this team has a chance to make the playoffs I'll always root for them to win...

Oh I fully believe the Bruins will win tonight, it's painfully obvious they'll play they're hearts out for the city... and rightfully so.

With the lottery.... anyone could be picking top 5 that didn't make the playoffs... and essentially guys that are going to be drafted in the 5-12 range would normally be top 5 picks in any other year besides this year's stacked draft.

Yes, all non-playoff teams have a shot at the top pick. The worse you finish, the better your chances.

Yes.. essentially.... something like 100 balls with the teams logos are placed into the tumbler...

Team that finished #30 have hte most balls in the tumbler, Team #29 has the second most balls, so on and so forth to team #17.

Calgary, Columbus, and Buffalo are the only teams with multiple 1st round picks that would increase their total in the pot but all of the additional draft picks that the 3 teams have together appear to be in the playoffs today.
