Yeah they were running around a bit in the third but they got the win, they have got to get their game back togather by Thursday. I think they will. Panthers took it up a couple notches to save face. Have to love this teams BATTLE LEVEL.

I guess the thing that concerns me about last nights game is it can create bad habits or at least errode at good one's. To me, the biggest factor in the Isles run over the last 10-15 games has been their puck support. Players away from the puck skate to the puck carrier and give them a moving option to continually advance the puck. It's what made the Red Wings so good a few years ago. No one holds the puck too long, other players offer support and are always skating.

When we got ahead, we didn't do that as well. I can honestly say it was the first time in over 10 games we struggled in that area. Hopefully they don't allow the flat-footed syndrome to creep back in.

A lot of positives with this team. Winning cures all. We make the playoffs and make some noise that's going to help with FA's more than anything. We face Montreal in the first round we are in good shape to possibly even win a round. If that happens we are in real good shape as far as league wide respect and players taking us seriously. Tack that up with our forward depth in bdgpt and we are sitting pretty. Good to be an islanders fan these days.

It's about F'n time! We all deserve this for sticking it out with this team for the last 20 years.

Don't get ahead of yourself my opinions haven't changed on management abd their decision making. I'm happy this team turned it around and is being competitive but I'm still have my opinions as to why and how we are being successful now.

It's almost scary when you consider most of our top tier talent is still developing in the minors! When guys like Strome, Nino, Reinhart, Mayfield, Donovan, etc begin to come through, this team is going to have wave after wave of talent infusion.

It's still too early to say 'I told you so" to anyone, but this Snow guy might be alright.

Yeah they seemed to get back to old habits. I'm expecting them to tighten up before Thursday's game. I think one of the most effective parts of their game recently has been the forecheck which has been incredible, lead to many turnovers and in turn goals for. Super aggressive forecheck and puck possession has been the reason this team has started winning.

Dont get carried away now, I mean once again it is a 48 game season not a full season and if it was a full season who knows what would have happened.

that being said great first period and then they kind of fell asleep for a while. Problem is any other team would have definitely scored another few goals. the Pantehrs are that bad. This team needs to play 60 minutes going forward.

One last thing...did you hear MArk STreit speech?? I mean not for nothing this guy is not even close to being a captain

Yeah, we need to get Reasoner and Boyes the hell off this team and start sprinkling in our youth. Boyes sucks on TV, but he sucks even more in person. He is so obviously slowing that line down.

HAHA. It's absolutely laughable that anyone other than John Tavares would be the Islanders MVP this season. The season isn't two weeks; it's 48 games. Tavares could be the MVP of the League. It's the stupidest thing ever to assert that any other Islander would be MVP this season.

Boyes sucks replaces Bailey, KO Sucks from early in the season. there is a big different between someone that is bad and somone just not scoring.

Reasoner sucks. Boyes is a good hockey player.

I dont see anyone saying anything about Bailey now. Btw, How many Posts can Bailey hit in one season.
