The forwards looked limp, the defenders didn't defend.. the team had no energy... and were just skating around at half speed.

It was the worst performance by the team all season.

But it is only one game.. a good butt kicking helps every now and then.. better to have those now than in the playoffs...

Just happened the Leafs were playing the best team in the league outside of Chicago of late.. and for an 8th time they were sitting relaxing the night before we played a game... most of those games if I remember correctly we had to travel for the next game...

Nice scheduling Bettman... the least you could do is have those back to back games in the same area... or at home...

but please no more Gardiner & Liles on at the same time.. they need babysitters... if they are going to play.

He definitely didn't pull his weight for the entire game thats for sure, but neither did the team. Lots to be desired after that effort. Regardless though, i've liked the attitude from the coach throughout the room for the majority of the year, they can bounce back if they take this in proper stride.

I don't agree with sitting the guys that got you here - they worked hard and sacrificed most nights so that people wouldn't take advantage of the younger players or smaller guys. I say let them play.....I don't think it is wrong to say that the guys play a little "bigger" and with a little more swagger when those guys are in the line-up.
