In a heartbeat.. YOU WOULDN'T?? WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU PEOPLE

Kadri has just as good of a chance of being a flash in the pan than repeating this same kind of season next year. Datsyuk.. you know for a fact what you are getting for the next few years. An all star super stud who is one of the best 2 way players in the game. Kadri could get 10 points in 80 games next year. You have absolutely no idea.

- kneughter

What's wrong with us is that we've learned to stop selling the farm for guys who are a few years away from retirement. Kadri for Datsyuk was a great trade 3 years ago.

You'll learn this soon enough. Reality is about to deliver a smackdown to your delusional fan base, just as it did to us. And to Calgary now.

Your window has closed and now you just need to clean up as much mess as possible to hopefully have a 3-4 year turnaround, and not a 10 year turnaround.

Kind of important considering his middling stats this year.
- p_zub

This is what Neutered and all of the other Canuckleheads keep arguing: if you ignore Luongo's contract, he's a good deal.

YOU CAN'T IGNORE THE CONTRACT!!!

I apologize for the capslock.

I feel shame.

We sent poor Neutered back to the 'Nucks threads walking funny! If it makes him feel better, he took it like a champ!!

I expect Lupul will play tonight in Washington. Carlyle may clarify here around 5 p.m. but consider him likely.

Guys, Luongo isn`t as bad as the stats say.

Why? Because he let in 8 goals.

Having bad games increases a goalie's value.

Everybody knows this.

Meanwhile, Reimer's stats only look good because he's had 3 shutouts.

Having shutouts decreases a goalie's value.

These are just the facts, folks.

I was thinking this the whole time. Vancouver is right where we were in 2003/2004.

With the #sens game being rescheduled to April 28, the #bruins will play seven times in 12 days to finish the season.

Yup. Calgary is us in 2008.

Vancouver is us coming out of the last lock-out. A dumptruck is about to hit them and they just don't know it yet.

Aging star players, a bunch of bad contracts that should be moved (but that won't be), and an empty farm system.

Yeah, but those teams don't want to have to pay his real dollars.

So go back to my earlier post: if he isn't snatched on waivers, it becomes an issue of how much salary the Canucks have to eat.

- Atomic Wedgie

Not to defend Kneuter but he agreed with me hours ago that the Nucks would have to eat some salary and any return, if any, would be modest.

I think he ends up in Florida sharing time with Markstrom. Nucks get the equivalent of Gysbers, D'Amigo and a 3rd and have to eat 20% of his annual salary and cap hit.

Fla gets a veteran goalie at a more reasonable salary and the Nucks save about 4 million in cap space. Gillis gets one more year to pull the rabbit out .....

If you arbitrarily throw out all of the games in which Reimer allowed a goal, he has a sv% of 1.000 and a GAA of 0.00!!!

Wow! First ballot HOFer here.

Neutered's been reading way too many "advanced statistics" I think.

It all depends on Schneider though, they do have a safety net with him. But the Sedins are entering sundin territory being 33. They might have 2 more years though, Edler is still improving.....but I doubt the 35 year old sedins will be competing for Art Ross Trophies. I'm not saying its a sure thing the nucks will end up as bad as we were, we were also hurt by the lockout, getting nothing for the Muskoka 5, or Mogilny, Belfour, Niuwendyk, Leetch and whoever else.

Do the Sedins have NMC's?

They'd be interesting rental bait, but at the same time, they would be almost impossible to move because you'd have to move them together.

Does anybody know if the Bruins have made up the postponed game with the Lightning (due to the blizzard)?

Yeah, I'm too lazy to look it up.

If you look at the majority of Reimer's shutouts, he's let in 0 goals, so obviously the games where he's let in goals are outliers and shouldn't be considered. It's not arbitrary at all.

Frattin's gotta go to the tough areas and get open in the slot too to use his shot.

I wrote him off last time, I'm not going to jump the gun this time. I'm sure his knee is still a bother.
