I agree that was a female dog move. But I'm guessing he did it because of Ballard's concussion history, but he should have dropped the gloves instead then. Backes jumped in later when Alberts dropped the gloves to go with Perron on front of the Canucks net as well.

I am not being argumentative or obtuse, but how do you feel about Mayers going after Torres, or should Hossa have handled that?

I'm really disappointed in the NHL and the way they scheduled the out door games next year. I've mentioned before the need for them to raise the value and increase the fan base for a few western conference teams. When you analyze the 7 games 4 of the teams are from WC.

You have the token Canadian game.....with Vancouver

The West coast game which I think is going to be awesome.....LA & Anaheim....

And of course the blackhawks.....

Why is there a need to play 2 games in Yankee Stadium. Why not have a game in Lambeau between two teams....like St Louis & Edmonton or San Jose.....the location alone would draw an audience......St Louis vs the Capitols in Busch Stadium......I think it's a lost opportunity. Rumor is the Hawks vs Wild in Minnesota the following year.

I'm not happy that Yankee Stadium gets two games. The league should spread it out to another city.

Really, this deludes the idea of the Winter Classic. I get having a Heritage Classic game, but this many outdoor games is crap.
