We also didn't have an AHL team. - sippyd
Excuses. The AHL guys are better then McM, Ellis. Pysyk has played much better then Leo was in Buffalo this year and same with Pardy over Regehr. |

I agreed with everything except the last part.
Pardy has gotten himself in some trouble and doesnt have Regehrs recovery skills. I've heard rumors with Regehr coming back here next year. |

To play big minutes? No
He wouldnt be a bad guy to have there to mentor the young kids kind of how Teppo did. |

I am assuming this is about Rudy? He hasnt been terrible. If you want to see terrible watch Leopolds stretch before he got benched.
He hasnt played a ton of minutes and hasnt taken many chances which is what you want from a young D. His play is similars to Pysk when he first got called up. You can see Pysk taking more chances with getting more ice time and being more comfortable at this level.
Let the kid play and see what he has. The other prospects haven't shown anything to deserve being up here and honestly they are on the last leg of the season about to start the playoffs. Let them play meaningful playoff games (Rudy just finished the NCAA tournament which is no easy task so he has big game experience this season) - Stripes77
i prefer Wedel but yes that is who i was talking about.. this was kind of my review of his play as well.. but i only saw the one game. we shall see how it turns out.
but i agree there is no one healthy in the AHL that would be better.. there are a few Dmen they need to move on from this summer. |

If Rolston wasn't here we probably wouldn't see these guys. |

No way in hell do you put the C on a guy who blows kisses and licks someone's visor. I like Ott as a player but he shouldn't be the captain because of his antics. - Pierceme69
this.
i think the C would actually make him less effective. hes doing just fine with the A... |

True but dont we want more than 6th? Nothing against Rolston or anything but don't we want more than being 6th? I personally would rather see a big name coach here than Rolston - Stripes77
i think they need a hard nosed coach.. i don't see that from RR |

That might be true, but we still aren't a playoff team and we are sill 4 points out like we were with Ruff when he got fired.
His options should be AHL, Assistant Coach, or find somewhere else to work. |

i dont want him to stay either. just defending what he deserves defended. he is in an awful situation with an AHL roster and getting more wins than you'd think he should be.
i want new faces who had nothing to do with buffalo ever before |

What I see from RR is a soft nosed coach that belong behind a chemistry set. Does he even know how to skate? . Just Kidding |

There are pictures that the bloggers have access to them in some Hockey Buzz database. Go ask Ek, not the bloggers. |

Lindy at one point was a GREAT coach. His stuff eventually got old... If he coaches again in the NHL watch him take his team far into the playoffs. |

yes he was.. but he was all bark and no bite, after 15 years the players figured that out and stopped listening |

Lindy hasnt been hard nosed since the 2009 season. He really took a few steps back on his tyranny. He tried to change his style and it didnt work |
