you think he'll straight up make the team next year?

i'm hoping, easy to root for him especially after that wild goat scream during that pens game.

I think he makes a good 3rd pairing with Grossmann. Depends what they do in the off-season, but he's got a great shot at making the team.

i've been thinking it all year, waiting for the right time to acknowledge it

and i'd hope that the flyers have hatch working with those guys. he is still with the organization, right?

- FlyerMike18

i really hope he does make it

and i'm also heartened by the flyers taking so much time in letting lauridsen develop

i've always been intrigued by his size but honestly assumed he'd be another D prospect that goes nowhere development wise, then gets traded in a minor ahl move

kimmo/schenn
coburn/meszaros
grossmann/gustafsson
gervais

could work for next season if they're playing a good team defensive game

His wrist is just above the ice, he's so small. Would've been a broken ankle on a normal sized human. Advantage Gus.

Where do you think Ristoailenin is getting picked? This very thorough mock draft has him going 10th.

Doesn't matter. Flyers will draft 14th

No matter my draft desires I cannot root against them when I'm there. That was a nice win. I wish they'd played like that more this year. But I don't want them to play like that more NOW.

Sean Couturier played 22 minutes, had a great assist, was a beats on the PK and had a splendid all around game.

3 stars? Mason, Timonen and JAY (frank)ING ROSEHILL?

i don't think i'd like coburn/mesz together but that's like trying to catch a rainbow considering our D health luck

lauridsen is very raw with the puck and has trouble with guys that have speed, but i like his size and aggressiveness. he has some work to do, but happy with his progression.

like you said, most of these defensive prospects flame out.

As long as they compete the rest of the way, that's all I want. I don't want bad habits to become tacitly approved just to get a better pick. Still don't think they make the playoffs and that's ok.

Sharks are on TV. Randy and Drew!

this is what i'm saying, i think he could put in the work and get better and i'm thrilled they are trying to let him do that instead of giving up

i like him

I agree with Mason, Couturier should be 2nd and Kimmo third. I could see Reader as third, but Kimmo had that goal

I don't believe both Mez and Coburn will both be on the roster. I understand Mez has virtually no trade value.

really hate paying meszaros $4 million for 3rd pairing minutes

grossmann isn't much less, but he's an overpaid, one-dimensional player (more of a skill set fit for the 3rd pair).
