Who did he play with mainly while he was in Anaheim? Any combination of Getzlaf/Perry/Selanne I would assume. He's has had a good career for a undrafted player, but he's benefited from playing with high end players pretty much his entire career. - p_zub
Yeah, teams don't usually tend to make their lines based on skill, they just thought Kunitz was a nice guy that should play on the 3rd line but they'd throw him a bone (for his whole career).

Yes, we call it the Bozak Effect around here.
In fact, there are probably more examples of teams picking top lines based on chemistry over talent than you realize.
Watch out folks the band wagon is about to get full!!
Kessel has been a consummate professional his entire time with the Leafs. He goes out and does his job. Under Carlyle he has developed a defensive style to his game as well and it has made him that much more dangerous. Those who compare him to Seguin can go pound salt.
Question of the day? Should Reimer get any Vezina consideration?

No.
Maybe next year, but not this year. He lets out more rebounds than a pee-wee goalie some nights. I love Reimer, he definitely stole last night for us and some other games, but he is young and is still learning.

NorthEast Champs???? maybe! - Frosty_Nipples
I think there are a number of Leafs who are so tantalizingly close to being considered for the major awards, but they'll likely all barely miss out.
If Reimer hadn't been injured, he'd be in the hunt without a doubt.
If Phaneuf hadn't started slowly (while carrying some AHL baggage), he'd be in the hunt for the Norris. As it satnds, he's probably 7th or 8th.
If not for the fact that two other NE Division coaches have their teams playing way above their heads, Carlyle would be looking at the Jack Adams.
And if Kadri had fewer games played, he'd be Calder eligible. That one kind of stings.

All those months of debating whether Kadri was ready or not. Should he or shouldn't he be in the lineup or traded. In the end, he ends up playing 50 games over his first 2 seasons.
He'd be the rookie of the year right now, hands down.
Does Stamkos score 100 goals because he plays with St-Louis?
BTW, your trolling is weak. - Pecafan Fan
Are we really comparing St louis to crosby COME ON. Thats one of teh dumbest comparisons i have ever heard. Also if you didnt notice the 100 goals was an exaggeration for effect. Its like when you say Kunitz is a great player. I am sure you are exaggerating for effect. But Kessel would score more than stamkos if he had crosby and that is almost a guarantee from the 1 nut sensation.

Maybe you should look at St-Louis's stats over the course of his career.

Im not saying he isn't great but he isnt crosby great. Crosby will be the gretz of our generation if he stays healthy. St louis is just a fantastic HOF player but that is all. Crosby is NEXT LEVEL.

What the (frank) was the point of that?!
Yes, (frank)ing idiot indeed. - Tee-Dot
He's a (frank)ing meathead.
I hope they throw the book at him and he never wears a habs jersey again. He is the type of player that has no business in the NHL running around and head-hunting.

I'm assuming the score was already ran up at that point?
