Last season, was Kunitz best season of his career.
You should check your facts before going off about things you have obviously no clue about. - Pecafan Fan
Kunitz is essentially a 3rd line checking winger that has the best player in the world on passing him the puck. How has he done since crosby went down?

Since Crosby went down Kunitz is not on a PPG pace. He is on a 0.5 pts/game pace. Which is very uninspiring. Heck I could get 20G with Crosby giving me the puck and I cant even skate.

LUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU, and you cant judge reimer based on anything yet, we have to first see how he does in the playoffs. You cant compare him to luu, luu already made the finals, reimer is still in progression. - Mapleleafs_91
This is the first time that I have ever heard Luongo's playoff record used in a positive comparison. |

His numbers have been pretty consistent throughout his career. 50-60ish points guy. Hard hitter. |

When Crosby returned in mid Feb I think Kunitz upped his pt per game total quite considerably. Before crosby if you look at the numbers he was just a 3 pts every 5 games type player. Which is essentially middle of the road type player. With Crosby he has been a PPG player. Numbers dont lie. |

They are underrated. The difference is, Kessel is seen as some joke and has been the NHL whipping boy for 3 years.
He is so much better than he's given credit for. |

Apparently, you have to combine 2 years in order to determine if a player is underrated.
Kunitz: 108pts
Kessel: 125 pts
But yeah, there's not doubt Kessel is the more talented of the 2, it's not even up for debate. |

Kunitz is the 2013 version of Anson carter. He is a good player but producing at a level only because of his linemate. Remember Mario Lemiuex made Rob brown an all-star. When he got traded he was in the minors within a year. Kunitz without crosby is a 40 - 50 pt player. Im not saying he is bad but to think he is worthy of a top 10 player in the NHL is laughable. I wouldnt even put him in the top 30. |

Sorry hit enter before I was done.
Anson carter with the sedins was a 30 g guy. No one thinks he is that good. |
