Perry is a former MVP who has scored 40 plus goals.

But the Getz contract simply ruins it for everyone.

I think the sad reality is that you have to OVERPAY now. The hometown discount has actually reversed.

The reason is pretty simple... there are ZERO players availabe (UFA or trade) who are legitimate all-stars and young. So when you have one, replacing him becomes impossible.

Steen more productive than Crosby last 2 years, despite scoring less points in more games. That was enough for me.

i am curious about that. lupul could go either way.. bet there is no sense rushing him back

I like how alot of the guys on this team are stepping up.

Reimer was solid last night, Mcclement is a key piece to the puzzle that is helping us immensely defensively and on the penalty kill and on those last dieing minutes of the game to keep dumping the puck out when the opposition pulls their goalie, along with kulemin and komarov in that mix. All key players stepping up.

The defense is looking alot better without holzer in the lineup thats for sure. O'Byrne is looking like a nice addition, dont see all the hate from the avs when they said hes not good, while if you asked habs fans they will say he was decent when he played for montreal

Kessel, Kadri, JVR, Bozak, Lupul have been our scoring threats

Grabo and Macarthur have probably been the the biggest upset this year, i say both will be gone by the summer, one not resigned and one traded away to open up our cap a bit more to sign someone else. Trading Grabo gives Colborne a chance at the 3rd line, while not resigning macarthur gives us a chance to make a trade or sign another decent big bodied winger which could be along the lines of a horton, clarkson, clowe.
