I haven't noticed any of the Nucktards in here, telling us how superior their goaltending is to ours. Lets hope Scrivens plays well tomorrow night and we can squeeze points out of Washington. - PrinceLH
You guys shutout the most offensively challenged team in the league.. GEE GOLLY MISTER.. I sure hope you sign Reimer to a big extension.
You guys sound like you are ready to give him the congressional medal of honor, the purple heart and the key to the city. Tuck your boner in your waist band and take a deep breath.

9 shut outs in 94 games OMG!!!
He almost has as good of a SP as Luongo but with 600 less games played. - kneughter
Witnessing you have an aneurysm in real time has almost made your rather pathetic trolling bearable.
Entertaining stuff, but let me know if I should call you an ambulance. Pop a couple of your anxiety pills and breathe deep breaths...
Fun fact: At his current pace and assuming no increase in ability towards his prime, Reimer would have more shutouts than Lu with the same amount of games played.

Those contracts were becoming popular around that time... there was half a dozen or so within that year with the same ridiculously long contract.
I've said it numerous times... Gillis would have just as tough of a time trying to deal Lu with him having 4-5 years left with a 7-7.5 million dollar cap hit than his 9 years left at 5.3. It makes almost no difference.. at least this way.. a team willing to take the gamble will be very content with the cap hit.
Cap going down... all star caliber goalie with a 5.3 million cap hit is looking pretty good right about now. Especially if Jimmy Howard is signing with that same cap hit. And you got guys like cam ward and miller making much more.

Was your goal to come in here and see how quickly you could get a reputation for being a moron?
Reimer's had a hell of a season. Nobody here has once suggested that he should win the vezina. There have been questions raised regarding how far off he is from getting consideration. Look at his stats, he shouldn't be far off. Thanks for your additions to this thread, some real good insight.

Now I've officially heard all the BS Canucks fans have to offer. Thanks for helping me kick that off my bucket list.
I've heard a lot of hot air about Luongo, but trying to paint his contract as a stroke of genius takes the cake. Even Luo go will admit that as he chokes back the tears.

I always look forward to Leafs fans overreacting over a win.
If you mean consideration as in a vezina vote? Then yes.. he will get a vote or two. Much like Dan Hamhuis got one last year for Norris.

I don't know if you have heard this before but goaltending wins championships and with two superstars in net your a lock for the cup. Excuse me and thanks for this revelation, i'm on my way to vegas now to bet everything on the canucks. Thanks for the tip, i owe you one.

Good a vote or two is the most anyone talked about, is that really ridiculous? Anything else you want to add? Maybe Kadri's a bust or something like that? It was easy for the trolls to make their stupid comments when the Leafs were doing bad but it's not that easy anymore.

Well Kadri is having a great season... I'm still not 100 percent sold on him. Never considered him a bust before.. but doesn't mean that this season isn't a surprise to many many people.
But I will hold my opinion for a couple more years.. and see how consistent he can be.

Yeah.
This is one season. I'm happy with rooting for The Dream, but lets not put the weight of 60-odd years on his shoulders yet..

B.C. has a rep for the best weed. This post proves it!

Hes got great hands.. and good vision. More calm with the puck then most players on other teams expect. Usually guys learn though.. and after embarrassing them a few times they figure it out.
Next season will be a good measure for him and hopefully he can keep it up. What do you think he signs for??

Not sure what I said that would constitute me having to be high? Its just an opinion.. which I'm sure a lot of people share.. even Leafs fans.
Its not saying he isn't capable of being a great player.. its just that consistency is what separates the all star players from the AHL call ups. Being able to perform.. season after season.
