Kadri's gonna be like Tucker. But with real skill.
I'm gonna hate the (frank) out of him if we ever trade him. - Feeling Glucky?
I have a feeling Hall will be hated by many fanbases, especially since he already seems to be. |

I think the leafs would have to run the table to get the division BUT 4th seed is up for grabs. Leafs just putting pressure on Montreal or Boston right now. This is fun though... projecting seeding and what not. All the hockey experts had the leafs pegged at 9/10th place in the conference to start the season - jps7878
I don't think the Leafs are going to overtake Montreal and Boston either, but if you look at the Leafs schedule every game is winnable. |

Brian Burke probably wants to fight someone. - robin_steele264
I'll be passing around a "thank you" card for Burke at the end of the season if anyone wants to sign it. |

Take Fraser his call-up has made Franson such a better player because of his toughness... Franson even led the team in hits tonight with 10.
Some of that credit has to go to Carlyle who has done a masterful job... and his squad selection has been excellent throughout the year.. as he rewards performance... and that is a huge difference.. from Wilson.
But you have to have a GM on board willing to bench some millions to improve... - DoctorNHL
You have to give him credit for even finding a guy like Fraser though who so many other teams had given up on. He also made the McClement signing which has obviously been huge. I'm not sure it's fair to assume he wouldn't have made the roster moves that have made with the vets. My guess is that those moves were made by Nonis on Carlyle's advice. There's no reason to believe that Burke wouldn't have made the same moves if Carlyle asked for them. As much as I like the guy, it probably was Burke's time to go, but that doesn't change the fact that his fingerprints are all over this team.
Remember how badly he was laughed at by everyone in the media when he said that Reimer is the real deal? |

I was on the fence about reimer he's playing good right now when he gets on hot streak he's golden. Also seems to stop giving up soft goals which is a bonus. Just hope it's not one of those streaks where he starts slowing come playoff time, time will tell. He must love playing habs though how many times has he shut them down. - Yeti1181
Every lousy streak we've seen from Reimer in his career has come right after returning from an injury. Last season he never really bounced back. When he gets into a rhythm and he's healthy he's rock solid. |

When's the camp? This summer? I wouldn't be surprised if he at least gets an invite. Team Canada tends to like established names though, that's the one thing I could see working against him. Obviously Price will be the favorite to start. |

Montreal gets Pittsburgh, tomorrow night. If they lose there and the Leafs grab 2 points in Washington, it's doable. It all depends if Boston gets over their malaise and starts winning again. By the time they reach Ottawa, this might get mighty interesting, with two games in Florida next week.

I haven't noticed any of the Nucktards in here, telling us how superior their goaltending is to ours. Lets hope Scrivens plays well tomorrow night and we can squeeze points out of Washington. |
