Nope I always said last year it wasn't the goalies it was the soft team playing in front of them... never seen so many tap in goals... after 3 or 4 saves...

Now that the team is committed to playing a tighter game.. both goalies look good...

Don't remember too many goals this year against where the opposition had 4 or 5 whacks at it...

Reimer was never the problem.

Leafs are a pretty tough crew. Could do well in the playoffs. Couple guys on the roster know the deal.

We have good records against all the teams headed to the playoffs... with Lupul back we will have two scoring lines.. and a bunch of those darkhorse type players that look like they could be playoff performers...

I dont hate this incarnation of the Leafs either (barring Phaneufs stupid face of course). Kinda like Wendel/Dougie. Loved those two.

Pretty much. Quite possibly Reimer's best game as a Leaf, certainly this season.

Leafs had 5 shots after 2 periods and James kept them in it. Watch the highlights, he made a half dozen RIDICULOUS saves.

Leafs turned it on in the final 10...

So I will be happy as long as they compete the rest of the way.. lose a playoff series in tight fought games.. it still is a huge bonus of a season.

Domi always tried his best and was a great scrapper. Hard to hate him (elbow on Nieds notwithstanding). Corson was a piece of poop. Tucker was like that little cut on the roof of your mouth that would heal if you could just stop tonguing it.

That has been the bonus this year they have battled in almost all of the games.. and you always feel they can steal some points in difficult games.
