People like to cut down the 1st overall. They are so eager for them to fail.

Look at the top 15 in the NHL scoring. 6 of the top 15 are first overall. Another 5 were top first round picks.

They are all just getting their licks in now while they can.

We should register a joint Oilers fan account and take turns being the Oilers' ref, since no one wants to do it full time

L2: Harti, Nuge, Eberle
L3: Paajarvi, Gagner, Hemmer
L4: whatever

Gives us a 3 skilled lines. Nuge and Ebs free to develop without first line match-ups.

I like the Oilers young guys but they need to make some trades and attract some free agents. Needs:

2 top 6 power forwards
A new bottom 6
Streit & Klefbom would help and maybe one more D.

Problem is Tambo overpaid the kids too early and not only set a precedent but hooped himself by not having cap space to get some good vets to bring the kids along. He needed to use the bridge contract on Hall and Eberle instead of dropping his pants. Now Nuge, Yak and Schultz will want the same money too early. Use the CBA to your advantage and start building a team instead of waiting for another draft pick to play too early and pay too much.

We are about to be on the 4th draft of our rebuild. On the pens 4th draft of the rebuild you guys picked 3rd. (frank) those pens were brutal. They had Mario and Crosby and still picked 3rd overall. We were picking late that year cause well we made it to the finals..
