YES IT WILL.
GET OVER IT.

Just think, outside of a Cup win, no matter happens, it'll hurt more for the Canucks to get knocked out than the Leafs....ditto for Pittsburgh

no pressure

History tells us that were this season 82 games a few of these teams would come back to earth while others below would rise up...However...this season is NOT 82 games!

Translation: The Flyers suck, hard. If the season was longer they would definitely be ahead of teams like the Habs and Leafs... ignoring the fact that the Habs and the Leafs are better teams.

yes we've had a lot of practice being bounced in the playoffs....God your a terrible troll.
- Leaffan8113

No appearance in the Finals since 1967. Seems like a lot of practice being bounced from the playoffs since then, no?
The last 9 years have been a lot of fun, but it will be nice to see the Leafs get knocked out from the playoffs again just like the good ol' days.

I guess you guys have had a lot of practice.

losing in First round? nope, sorry, Pens have monopoly on that lately... we'll have to take your word for it.

I've seen the Penguins win 3 Cups in my life time. They've been a top team for a few years now and look to remain that way for some time. I am hoping for a Penguins/Blackhawks Final as I do think those are the best two teams in the league and it would be a good match up.

Yes, 2 years in a row. A real long run, genius.
Shall we start naming things that the Leafs have had a monopoly on?

and yet they've been bounced in the 1st round 2 years in a row. You saying it won't suck for you if it happens again?

yes... let's start with the number of fans of other franchises that are obsessed with them.

you should be good at that.

Seriously? Toronto is 3-1 against Montreal this season. You honestly don't think that counts for anything?
- Jeffmt

Ottawa was 3-1 against the NYR last year, for all the difference that made!

Of course it would. Always sucks to get knocked from the playoffs. But a recent Stanley Cup and the team being built to be elite for a while longer has helped cheer me up.

Ya, cause that's what really counts in hockey. The team has been the laughing stock of hockey over the last decade, but at least other fans hate the Leafs. That must go a long way in making you feel better.

did you duck when that went over your head, or just miss it completely?

nice location BTW - how long ago did you make that up?

Was from a poster in Augello's thread during the lockout. I don't know about you, but I found it quite funny. Ahhhh Leafs fans. So much anger. Yet so much misplaced false hope. You gotta respect it.

and you didn't attribute it to the poster? strange... kinda how that works. But that is harder when no one ever said it and you made it up...

Whatever helps make you feel better.
Don't worry, even Leaf fans gave it to the guy after he posted it. But the fact that even one of you feels that way illustrates what we're talking about.
Wasn't aware of the rule that says you must include the name of the poster when using a quote in your location.

FOR REAL:
Piitsburgh and Montreal in the East.

Chicago and Los Angeles in the West.

Darkhorse: Washington/Ottawa

PRETENDERS:

NYI and NYR in the East.

Anaheim and Vancouver in the West.

Darkhorse: St. Louis

- PAY-DIRT

Montreal's a pretender. No way they'll be even close to where they are right now, next year. They'll crash and burn in round 1.

helps of know if it was one of our "special posters" or not... sadly we do have a few of those. ok.

nevermind the obvious, Rielly and Gardiner are both LD, both Left shots, and both PMD's... I'll be shocked if they ever set foot on the ice together their entire careers

If the Leafs get Montreal in the first round, you could almost book it as a sweep today. We play well against everyone right now outside of Boston, which have been close games all year long.
