Great argument as always... well thought out... articulate.

Why don't you stop being a jack ass and let me know what I said that was so "Hilarious".... nothing I said wasn't true.

Depth at center.. and quality goaltending tend to be the 2 main recipes for success. I can definitely understand how a TML fan would WANT to disagree with that seeing as that seems to be 2 of their giant glaring holes.

Tambelinni has been fired by Oilers. Confirmed.

And Craig MacTavish comes in. Same recycled trash in Edmonton. How does Lowe still have a job? He says he wants a new start and fresh blood. How in the hell is MacTavish fresh blood? Utterly stupid move. Tambo was terrible, but at least get someone new in there with different ideas.

To play devil's advocate, the Tambelinni -- Quinn/Renney/Krueger era is one of the most highly criticized runs in the Oilers history. That was a whole lot of someone new with different ideas.

Not saying MacT will lead us to glory, just saying that I put more of a premium on results than I do "freshness".

Stop - again, your organization needs to break away from its good old boy network and hiring recycled names. It needs FRESH new blood with fresh ideas. MacTavish isn't fresh new blood and he doesn't have any new ideas that Tambo had.

I know if someone gets fired in the NHL, there is a good chance he will be rehired and be moving to Alberta. The question - which franchise? Both franchises do nothing more than hire recycled names. Lowe needs to go.

It's not my organization and I'm not chucking my support behind the move to any degree per se.

I don't give them any more extra time for results, and I like many oilers fans will believe that the rebuild is on the right track when I see it.

No I mean 2 vezina calibre goalies... or have you not seen CS numbers this year?

Just tilt your head a bit when you find Reimers name.... you can't even pretend you wouldn't take CS on your team over any goalie the leafs have.

Actually.. if you are as delusional as most leaf fans then yes... you probably could

You're right, Schneider's numbers are better than Reimer's. Maybe not a head tilt better just kind of an eye-flick (Schenider 6th and Reimer 13th).

So, what are you getting for your $10M compared to $2.4M for Leaf goalies?

.925 save pecentage from Schneider and .911 from Luongo

vs .922 Reimer and .918 Scrivens

Pens 2nd round exit mark it down.

Blues vs Bruins to play for the cup

Blues will ride a hot goalie but Bruins will prevail in 7.

- MrBigglesworth

who would the blues hot goalie be ? the key for the blues is to wear teams down with rough play, other than that its going to be tough for em, im hoping to see a blues nucks series in round 1, i think they can pull out the win, but would be a series to watch, go hawks

Well it's certainly a good thing that they hand out the cup to teams with goalies with the best save % numbers, instead of giving it to the guys with the most heart, compete, etc.etc..

You have 2 young goalies who have proven ZERO except that they can play pretty decent against ONLY THE EAST, in a SHORT SEASON, where they haven't played any Western teams (Namely Chicago and Anaheim) who would have DISMANTLED them over the course of this season.

Hop back into your rocket ship and blast off back to planet Laugh, where everyone thinks that a stretch of ~40 games means you're a serious contender and can now bag on goalies who have won Gold Medals for their country and taken their team to game 7 of the SCF.

Has any Leaf fan actually stated that the Leafs are a "Serious" cup contender?

Or are you trying to prove your point by making stuff up?

You don't have to, when you are bagging on the 'Nucks tending situation as a Leafs fan it's straight up insanity.
