You really want to come at me right now? Because only a complete idiot would suggest a change when the team hasn't lost in regulation in almost 3 weeks. - kencan98

I know you were. I was just saying that I still believe that resigning Boyes and Nabby is the right move. |

Ok...misinterpreted your post. sorry.

When you have a terrible team you need a great goalie. The Rangers have both. - kencan98
The panthers are terrible, the rangers arent great, but far from terrible.
I admitted you were the better team, enough with the sour grapes.. |

Isles played a good game tonight... got a must needed point, and are still ahead of the Rangers.
Isles need 3 more wins to get in.
Next Saturday will be huge against Winnipeg!!!
Hopefully they beat Florida, and Toronto!!!

Nope. The Rangers are pretty terrible. Especially if you remember what all the talk was a few months ago. Like every year, the Rangers were supposed to the the 84 Oilers. Now they are barely in a playoff spot. |

Yup. You sign Boyes to a one year deal and if the prospects are ready by the deadline you send him away for picks. If they aren't, you have someone there who can at least complete the top line.
If he'd sign for 2 million and we can use him until the deadline and get a second rounder for him, which we would if he produces near what he is producing now, then it's a deal any GM in the NHL would make. But then again, the Islanders never do the common sense thing so who knows.
Think of it this way, you spend 2 million to be 100% sure that Strome is ready to make the jump and that he isn't rushed and ruined. It's 2 million well spent.
Now if he wants 4, which I don't think he will, then it's no deal. But for 2, then it's all day long.
Losing Boyes and Nabby will put us back in the lottery. |

Clearly a disappointment going from 1st to 8th in the conference. Not worried about that now though. Get in and ride hank, its the way it has to be now.
Just be happy you're in the playoffs.. |

They are one point behind the Islanders with a game in hand.
So, if they are pretty terrible, what does that make the Islanders?
Pretty terrible and barely in a playoff spot?
Dude, you need to get a good night's sleep and take a happy pill.

Who said they're supposed to be the 84 Oilers, this is he 1st time since the 90's that they were an actual favorite, coming off the ECF and adding Nash for two 3rd liners, was that trade OK or did we buy him unfairly under the same Cap as the Isles?
You sound so ridiculous and petty |

We knew we were terrible.
That's the difference.
The Islanders are playing well above what was expected.
The Rangers are poopting the bed like usual. |

And if I was on the ice or behind the bench there wouldn't be a Hank to ride. He would have spent the game in the "quiet room". |

8 out of 9 years in the playoffs since the lockout while building the team through the draft while also going to the ECF after finishing 1st in the conference is poopting the bed? Man do have some disappointment headed your way |

Building the team through the draft?
Really?
And yes, when you are expected to destroy every team in the league before the season starts and you end up exiting early every year, that's pretty much poopting the bed over and over again.
We expect to be bad and we usually are. |
