He also seems to have a hard on for grabner? - Cptmjl
Yeah he hates him for some reason. I dont know why to be hoenst. He has 14 goals playing on a third line with limited time. what more does he want from the guy?? I dont get it honestly. He is awesome on the penalty kill and has been flying all over the ice. |

i agree that boyes shouldnt be playing top line minutes...but i dont think he has been the worst on the line in the last 5-10 games...i give that title to moulson. he has looked flat, slow and unmotivated. - LetsGoIsles

Problem is Jack hates switching up lines and he will not do it. I cant remember the last time he actually did that. I think he is going to ride this the rest of the year and into the playoffs if we make no matter if the lines go stale. We wills ee the real Jack if they make the playoffs and see if he knows how to match up against the other teams lines - kasperrko
Putting Grabner on the 1st line and Putting Boyes on the 3rd line pretty much eliminates a line that can produce. At least with Grabner on the 3rd line they are still going to score some goals. You have Boyes playing with Aucoin & McDonald and that line is pretty much useless. That would be my guess as to why that piece of shat is still on the 1st line |

you might be right. then maybe move Martin up to that line bury Boyes on the fourth line. Maybe give him power play time. Just trying to get all 4 lines clicking at once which is hard |

Honestly I agree with you as well. Moulson has not really played to well this year. |

I wouldn't mind Streit being signed to a 3 year deal if the money is right. Wang can spend whatever he wants on the guy but I think it would be smart if they made sure that he had value (money wise) in a trade. If he's in at 5 million per for 3, I think we got a good deal. I don't know if he'd take that but if he would, I'd do it.
His point production hasn't slipped this year. He's still in the mid 40's (pro rated) and if that continues next year, I don't see how we can't get something of value in return when the time is right for a prospect to come up. - kencan98
I got a copy of the CBA if you want to look at what rules apply to signing a 35 year old, especially for 3 years at big money. |

He was one of our best players, extremely versatile. Any coach should love the guy. Pure specualtion that he hates him it's just btn Thompsons and Capuano's interviews they seem to be overly critical of the guy. |

Moulson has been pretty terrible for a while now. Honestly have to say it's a toss up btn him and Boyes the last ten games. JT is unfortunately paying the price for it. If that line could get going we'd be that much better for it. |

I will say that last year he was really bad and lost his way but for the most part I have been happy with Grabner so far and what he gives this team. He is a smaill guy but dont mind getting into the corners and getting dirty. He works hard. I am just afraid that he might be the one they trade when the young guys are ready to come up here. I can make a list of about 10 guys before Grabner should go |

If that line gets going we are in the playoffs already to be honest. |

It's a conundrum of sorts. You reaqlly can't put Boyes anywhere but off the team bcs he will be all the more ineffective on another line. |

I totally agree. I just want to look in the paper and see that little x next to our name saying we are in. I mean seriously we are not even that far from Toronto. Problem is we lose a couple of games int eh row we are out. I was happy with the point against the Ranger we played our butts off and stayed in front. We need to just keep getting points |

He might be playing hurt or something is not right there. Kind of weird that he has been playing great for years and then nothing |

I'm fine with the seventh seed and a series with the Habs. They've been playing great but we match up well against them. |

Yeah beleive it or not I rather played them then Washington. That team scares me cause they are getting hot and if number 8 is going he can win the series single handed |

Neither have I. I am just waiting to see what they do next year with this club. Do they build on teh success or do they leave things the way they are?? Do they resign guys like Streit and Nabby or watch them walk for nothing??? do they resign cappy to an extension?? It scares the hell out of me |
