See, reading comprehension. Now the problem is obvious.

I referred to the Islanders as "they" when complaining about the calls.

You responded that you aren't complaining about the calls

I said, did you really think I was referring to you when I referred to the Islanders as "they"

you say I have reading comprehension problems.

Uhhh, yeah

Yes. See, there's this box on the right side of the screen. 3 per row across 5 down (Ranger fans, that's 15 total) of these yellow things that you guys all keep including in almost every post you make.

I mean "foul" towards every Ranger fan in here. I'm a fan of the game and love watching every game that I have time to see. I love real competition and wish all the teams success when they aren't playing the Islanders.

On the other hand, when it comes to the Rangers, I look forward to the Kaleta/Richards type plays.

You're no fan of the game, you're a narrow minded loser

Are you even reading the conversion? Did you miss the posts where I was accused of complaining about the officiating AFTER you brought it up?

And you're a Ranger fan. I'll take "narrow minded loser" over the other insult any day of the week.

are you "they"?

I have said "they" about 50 times now.

You know you are one person. Singular. You know that right?

I actually think we were trying to have a civil hockey discussion until this guy turns it up on the personal.

But, if we could go back to Dee's earlier blogs, I came in here and said I thought the Islanders could make the playoffs in this short season when every Islander fan was singing the blues.

Nobody on hockeybuzz is more generous in their comments about the Islanders than I am.

That being said, they complain about the officiating waaaaaaaay too much.

Who cares... go and tell the Ranger fans about it!!!

You don't need to be in here!!!

No, he is an fool who is embarrassing this board. You guys are welcome in here anytime to talk hockey, it's just a shame when you get a dippoop like him to ruin decent hockey talk. I put my head in my hands when I read his posts as most of the other Isles fans on this board do as well.

Chickendirt!!! Blast from the past!!

Good game last night. Isles outplayed them. Playing VERY solid hockey. Their goalie played well as did ours. I honestly don't think anything was "stolen". One defensive breakdown in OT was the winner. Isles won in the goalpost stat (3-1).

On to the next. PANTHERS!!!

I got into it one time when Chickendirt told me Brendan Witt was better than Marc Staal.

Oh yes, those were the days

Great goalies steal games that their teams got outplayed in. Like he said, it's a luxury and that's what makes Hank elite. He has the ability to outright steal games and vital points.
Would have been nice if we didn't hit so many posts though

- NewYawkIslandez

Unfortunately, I dont think many of the shots he faced were all that hard for his ability, he played a perfect game and was the difference maker. I enjoyed this game I think the Isles played awesome, I think Martin, Nabby & KO.. YES Kyle Okposo played out of their head yesterday... Kyle made me believe I was watching Patrick Flatley along those boards.. he would not give up the fight and most times came away with the puck, he hustled and his tenacity created a few scoring chances. I hope he can keep this "battle Level" from this day forward.

I look at it this way: this nonsense about the officiating...well, we all know what Al Arbour says about that. The call on McDonald should have been charging, not elbowing....of course, Asshead took care of that problem anyway. There was one blatant and obvious trip of one of our guys coming into the zone on RW that didn't get called. That's about it.

The bottom line: thank God there is only one Henrik Lundqvist, or hockey would be boring as sh*t . I knew from about half way through the second period that our only hope was to get a point by having it be 0-0, at the end of regulation. Even if that had made it to the shootout, we'd have come out with the short end of the stick. As I said, Rask should win the Vezina because of the year he's having, but I don't think there's any question as to who is the "best" goalie in the league...and probably the world, right now. To put it another way- if the Isles play the way they played last night against Florida, they'll win 8-2. As long as they KEEP playing that way, they'll be in the dance, guaranteed. Nothing to be ashamed of there...

Stepan would not be the Isles second best player. But yes I would take him over Bailey although Bailey has been much better lately
