It's that time in Buffalo and surrounding areas everyone.
Please slow down when driving through ANY construction site or zone.
The life you save could be mine.
Thank you. All my union brothers and sisters thank you as well.

Disagree, if it was the case that this is only a rookie thing, Myers would have won the Norris Trophy twice already.

It's times like these that remind me why I'm glad I don't work in the city.... even though I'm in the Rochester region anyways.

If UMass-Lowell D Chad Ruhwedel's contract with BUF gets signed/registered quickly enough the college UFA could be in Sabre lineup today.

I've done a ton of work out in Rochester throughout the years as well.
Greece , everywhere. The worst part is I used to drive it everyday.
Sun in the face on the way there. Sun in my face on the way home.
I will be working out in New York city this year as well doing some concrete pavement and concrete barrier wall as well.
Then we will be on this site as well.

edit : if you look at all the concrete barrier wall and pavement in the photos that change across the heading. That is what the company that I work for will be responsible for on this project.

From hockeysfuture.com

Rudwedel isn’t big (5’11, 180lbs), but he is solid at both ends of the ice. He possesses some soft hands and moves the puck really well. One attribute that made Ruhwedel so effective for UMass-Lowell last season was his decision-making. It was smart and simple. He has also become a mainstay on the River Hawks power play, where his two goals were scored.

I forgot that is an exact science for rookies

We could go all day on guys that this didn't happen to. Fact is he should still be a factor on the wall and in the corners, hitting and occasionally fighting. I can only recall a handful of games where he has been noticeable. I expected more and I'd be willing to bet the Sabres did as well......rookie or not I'm not giving him a pardon.....no excuse.

My point exactly. There are no excuses for failing to play to your pontential like Foligno has this year... and Myers has for the past 3 years.

I understand that sometimes the puck doesn't go in and let's face it Foligno is never gonna hit 30(most likely). But no excuse for not bringing to the table the physicality that he is noted for and that makes him effective....

.....one could argue if he was playing that way more often the pucks may find the back of the net more

The pucks will always hit the back of the net more often when the players are doing their job. Darcy's problem are a whole different story.

Underachieving players is a common theme in the city of Buffalo.

you make fun of your own logic

Man pay attention, I say he is a rookie, you can´t trust what will happen.

>You have put expectations on him meaning you expect to preform to a certain level....hence exact science.....SCHOOL OUT

It's still baffling that they are starting a college player instead of a callup.

thats what i was thinking to myself, theres NO ONE better in Rochester? Biega? Gauthier-Leduc? Schiestel?

Seems strange they would sign another defender out of college, no ahl experience, and just throw him to the wolves

Sabres motto for rest of this season MUST be "Losin' for Drouin" ...tank baby tank! If Briere is bought out this offseason, go get him and bring him back home to mentor the youngin's! He played well with Vanek before and Villy Laimo...try that out as your top line for 2013-14....if Villie continues to suck, buy him out next offseason.
Trade Miller and see if some combination of Enroth, Leggio , or the new kid from Minnesota (forgot his name already, sucks to get older) are capable of handling major minutes and develop into a solid goaltender.
Package Stafford and Minnie's2013 #1 for a higher #1 this year ..and jump start the rebuild...and finish the dismantling of the old core. Insist Meyers and Griggy join Hodgson at the Gordy Roberts Summwr Program to build strength, endurance and other benefits like leadership and personal commitment!
I'm available to run the hockey department Terry, I'll keep Darcy on retainer to complete deals at Draft and Trade Deadline timeframes....he's solid there to execute the 2 trades we will need for each of the next 2-3 years to complete the rebuild to a Stanley Cup winner...but I'll define the player chareteristics needed...like for now...let's go get more heart and determination to win players like Steve Ott. I need two (2) years Terry, the fire my a$$ if not completely satisfied with the RESULTS not promises,,,,

Couldn't they have used an emergency call up? At any rate I think Ruhdewel has a higher ceiling than any of the guys still in rochester so I think it's a good move.
