Listen to me Buffalo Sabres ownership:

Fire Darcy Regier the minute Buffalo's season ends, which should be in a few short, agonizing games. Then....simply pick up the phone and beg Brian Burke to please accept a new GM job.

With the spare, jettisoned, seemingly broken and useless parts from the rest of the league (Phaneuf, Lupul, Van Riemsdyk) Burke transformed the Toronto Maple Leafs from being the league punch-line to being the team that other teams poop themselves over just thinking about facing in the playoffs. Oh....and he also insisted upon drafting Kadri, despite the ire of ownership. Oh, and Kadri would have been cut by ownership after 2 miserable seasons in the AHL if Burke hadn't insisted otherwise. If there is anyone who knows how to transform a steaming mound of dog feces (BUFFALO) into a pile of gold, it's Burke.

I've gone through this attitude many times before only to be completely let down. I'll tell you, even though we did make some nice chances... my confidence in the future of this team is still shaken.
