It's a good thing it's still 1993 and nothing has changed, especially the draft system, how many kids are playing these days, how many kids are more ready at the age of 18/19 than before, how much more competitive the league is, how much more money the league is making, how many more fans there are, how many more teams there are, and like.. you know.. all that other stuff that hasn't changed since 1993.

Yeah expansion is the key........ The league has 4 anchors now in Tampa, Miami, Columbus, & Arizona that draw flies, so yeah I can see where the league should add and not contract or relocate...

Average attendance this year is 8686. Average ticket price is conservatively 12 dollars. so about 3.5 this season in gate, another 1-2 mil if they go the distance in playoffs, and concessions, merchandise, etc...

EDIT: 8686 is actual attendance mind you, paid attendance is higher.

Good work haha , I think my main point is now that there is parity in the dollar and a salary cap nhl markets in Canada can thrive .... When the dollar was .65 and you had the rangers throwing 7 million at garbage it was a recipe for disaster .... Now canadian markets are the main reason for the nhl success in revenue
