Weird, if it wasn't for Bettman the Pens would be in Hamilton now.

Hamilton? Why not Houston or Oklahoma City where they would make a killing!

My thought is, eventually you will see Quebec, Hartford and another team in either the Toronto area or Hamilton, with two expansion teams, and one of the teams that is treading financial water right now moving to the third spot. Just a guess....but if I'm right, you'd have to ask yourself why they moved these teams in the first place....I guess sometimes you just have to make a town realize that you're not kidding when you repeatedly tell them you need a new building (see Hempstead, for one example).

Hahahahahaha !!!!! I guarantee Quebec would dwarf Florida in team revenue ... What are front row seats in sunshine 17.99 ? If the NHL put teams in Quebec, two more in Ontario , Saskatoon , and one in maritimes all these locations would make more money them bottom 10 teams in revenue right now ...

So does Quebec get a team or Jancowski become a star first?

So it is wrong to assume it will work in those two cities but okay to assume they will fail?

Failure has never stopped the NHL from trying again if the destination is promising enough. QC is one of those places you look at again.

Atlanta, in contrast,...........

Do you mind if I take a screen shot of this? It's just that I don't think I've ever seen a Panthers fan on here. Or anywhere else. Kind of interesting.

They also had a team in Winnipeg... and Quebec.
- FloRidaCats

Yes....I'm aware of that. In the WHA Houston folded...those two didn't.

But hey....Houston must be a better marked that Quebec.

I wanna see Canada getting as many teams as possible to even things out a bit.

Montreal Canadiens
Toronto Maple Leafs
Ottawa Senators
Edmonton Oilers
Calgary Flames
Winnipeg Jets
Vancouver Canucks

Quebec Nordiques(?)

Seattle should get a team...would be cool.

- Orpik44

IMO, PHX will go to Seattle. That division is set up for it perfectly next year.

It's just funny to say that a team would not work in Quebec City but that it would work in Houston or Oklahoma City. Even you must see the humor in that?

If $17.99 is too steep for you, no worries! Pay whatever you want!

Most Pens fans think their team was an expansion team that started in 2005 and ignore all the financial problems the Pens had like some Southern market teams are going through.

Realistically I wouldn't but I'm willing to bet they make more money then the bottom teams in NHL right now .... Kinda wonder how much the Halifax mooseheads made last year compared to panthers lol

Dale Hawarchuck!!!!

FYI, in a smooth marketing move, the Jets and the NHL will be releasing those as the third jersey in a few years, when they feel they've fully tapped out the full market in Winipeg with the current jerseys. I thinking 15-16 or 16-17.
