What are they going to do? What happened with Carter and Richards didn't originate with the beat guys. They blew up on TMZ with all the photos and the beat guys did what they have too.

I have a bit more understandings for the beat guys until they're @$$holes then I'm ready to destroy them.

I almost missed the deadline on the second question because the Xfinity Wifi bumped me. Got back on and whammo! Good guess. I did know the first question. Second one was a guess. My goalie brother would've been proud (Hexy is his favorite Flyer of all time).

if anything, this is the single most bothersome issue from the fans and the media this year, as if the flyers are where they are primarly and perhaps solely because of bryz. the scrutiny he receives is crazy, and he really has said very little or even done very little to create any kind of controversy this year. people are literally looking for ANYTHING they can to blame him and want him gone. I just done understand it.

he's been their most consistent player, a workhorse, and given them a chance to win in most of the games. the fact this team can't score for poop, is horrendous at ES, and even worse defensively as a group I guess is irrelevant. it's all bryz's fault. he sucks.

Exactly, jak. I posted a few games back that the Flyers had scored 3 or more goals just 9 times compared to 20 or so with 2 or less.

The fall off in goal production is really head scratching. Only so much of that can be blamed on a poor puck moving back end.

Flyers need to lose the rest of the games. I hope Briere comes back and sucks the life out of them.

Went back and forth on Twitter with someone who posts here about that. As if his save percentage improving 2% to .916 like Lehtonen would make a difference. I said, "Oh good. Then we'd be losing games 2-1 instead of 3-1 or 4-1." It's also why I did the Billy Madison quote/tweet: "Flyers O? More like B.O.!"

Yeah, but IIRC (and I rarely do), they let him walk because he was too one-dimensional/similar to Straka.

Yeah, but he was also undersized and not an especially good skater (a fatal combo for pro upside). Straka absolutely has the speed, and an NHL body type even if he's not at all physical.

I remember in the late 90's/early 00's a few Flyers came into the bar at Main Street in Marlton. I politely asked them to leave and join us for a quiet good time at the local library. It's the best spot for post-game pleasantries.

alot of mock drafts have us picking sean monohan with the 6th pick, really, do we need more centers..if they pick him i might retire being a flyers fan

I'd have no problem at all with it. If he develops as expected, the Flyers will have plenty of flexibility to either make Schenn a full-time LW or trade a center to fill a blueline spot without feeling the pain. No such thing as too much depth or talent at one position.

Well, regardless, I thought his take on this "story" was the most likely explanation.

Like I said last night, a guy can go -4 after two and a half periods, score the go-ahead goal (meaning the GWG) and get "Player of the Game" honors.

Only other place where I saw that sort of play over a full game meant you had a good game was in the beer leagues.
