I keep hearing that what is it that you like about him?
- flyerfan28

Hes a very big creative center. I just think he plays with a very calm, game setting demeanor. Like Ob said.. his biggest ? is his skating, which isnt great.

He plays the total game though... At 17 years old he led the U20 tourney in scoring and in the SMLiga he was top 10 in points and +-

When Bergeron and Backes retire.

would you trade hartnell for backes? maybe two guys w/ some similarities in their games who might need a change.

Most think he'll play center in the NHL.

Bill,

what do you believe would be a better trade chip for the flyers to acquire a top pairing dman- their #1 pick in this draft or couts/schenn? i don't want to trade the pick, but my concerns about this D going forward have been elevated by the recent news about nic and mez.

Wine is fine but whiskey's quicker, suicide is slow with liquor. Taking a bottle to drown your sorrows (especially in this case) will only flood away brighter tommorows my friend. But stay thirsty otherwise.

Used Vodka Think alcohol made me angrier or I just sick of dumb fans on facebook blaming Bryz on the winning goal.....Yea lets just ignore the fact we gave up a breakaway while shorthanded....

Ill take MacKinnon over him in a heartbeat.. MacKinnon is gonna be one hell of a player.. and has MUCH better wheels and some serious swagger.

But Barkov could step in right away... I feel like he is a lot like Ville Leino when Leino was on his game. Better passer than a shooter.. was a very solid two way player... had tons of creativity and could posses the puck very well.

I attribute much of Hartnell's trouble this year to being slowed by the broken foot (which I suspect he returned from too early, BTW).

Can't blame the foot for the bad penalties, though. He's always done that.

Depending on what number the pick ends up being, my order of preference would be trading B. Schenn, then the pick and then Couturier (whom I still believe is going to be closer to the player we saw in the Pittsburgh series last year than the struggling second-year player from this season).

So you have Domi rising (as do I) and Zadorov falling (again, as do I)

Domi reminds me a lot of Brad Marchand. I would love to have him, but we will pick better available players.

Zadorov is huge, but is still very raw... Kinda like Coburn in the essence that for a big guy he can move pretty well (not quiet like Coburn), but isnt exactly an aggressively physical d-man or offensive producer.

Zadorov is raw, I think that's why the Hunters have brought him along at a decent pass and not rushed him.

Still have major question marks about Morrissey's D and ability to handle the pounding of NHL forecheckers. I don't see Wennberg as a player who will ultimately be a top-six guy in the NHL.

Bryz is accused of falling asleep at a team meeting? Its obvious he falls asleep in net during games but at team meetings?

I have seen him ranked very high.. but I dont buy it.. at best it will take him 4-6 years to become a steady presence in the NHL.
