The wife just took my last bit of vodka. She said she is going out and will get me a bottle. She asked which bottle. I told her to call and say she is Howard's wife.

They had the bottle ready when she got there.

I may have a problem.

You read it right. Reyes injury was futboll(soccer) bad. Been their best player. Looks to be out a real long time. Those injuries are very tough to come back from. Which brings me to my point about this ship sinking. If even the Baltimore Orioles can put together a competitve/playoff team before the Jays can(with the jays making big deals and upping payroll extensively). How long until people in this city fully give up and stop coming to games entirely?

Paul Carey undresses @BulldogsAHL Dustin Tokarski and puts Lake Erie up 4-0. Jacob Gervais-Chouinard comes in, getting his first AHL action.

Just watch. It's gonna get ugly for the Jays & AA. Only high in attendace because of the big deals they made. Get ready for about 10k showing up to the games.

It does, give it 2 months. People will stop coming entirely. They're already struggling and lost their best player. The buzz has already died down big time in this city with their start.

No, I'm just aware of how the "fan base" of flavor of the month franchises work. It's just going to get uglier.

You couldn't be more correct.
Baseball attendance is always the highest in April, it never increases in the summer. After tonight, they are 4-6... they are finished.

Not the point of what time of year it is. Jays are in trouble. Even if they win tonight. Don't worry, I'll be sure to bring it up again later in the season once the Jays are far out of the race.
